Think the dealer will figure it out quickly. You could have a mechanical issue ( perhaps a mechanical range limit switch is out of adjustment). If you don’t hear any mechanical binding or grinding then it might be a calibration issue usually caused by something that has shifted out of place...

just curious do you have foot gesture open enabled. If so did you try opening with your foot gesture? If you still have the car try toggling that feature on and off using interior and key buttons. I think they need to reinitialize the anti theft software. Guess they will figure it out ?
