If you looking for sporty over comfort/range then I would pick the GTS. If comfort is you goal then I have to say the 4 over the 4S. Why? Because you can option the 4 at lower cost (even if you add in the sport pack) and if you don't mind the less HP of the Macan 4 (and you don't care about...
Also learned that you cannot get 20 inch rims on the GTS by ordering on the configurator or any other way. Porsche came back and said they are not approved and they don’t really say why. This is strange because you can get them for the turbo. I suspect it’s because of the special GTS lower...
Yeah, I just played with the configurator bit and compared a fully optioned Macon 4 and a GTS and the difference turns out to be about 7K more for the GTS (Canadian funds). This is because many of the costly upgrades to bring a Macan 4 up to GTS spec are included as free or much lower cost in...
I totally agree with you, which is why I’m trading my 2024 in for a new 2026 Macan 4 with the new sport design package. Check out the configurator for that as it replaces all of the grey- what I call Walmart shopping cart plastic -with gloss black. The package transforms your sub GTS trim into...
What color is that? Me thinks the light is playing tricks
Thanks for the feedback. I love the look of the RS Spyder 22" but don't want to sacrafice the ride quality as half the roads I drive on are marginal. I will try the 21" to see how they compare to the 20" I currently have as there are...
Looking good. Are those all seasons or
Looking good. Are those all seasons? What brand?..hard to see. How do you find road noise and ride comfort in normal mode with those 22" rims?
Hopefully, they can continue that trend and do a few up in Western Canada Vancouver island. Right now there is one V3 and the rest of the V2 which do not work with the Porsche adapter. No indication as to when they would be putting in more V3. There are no V4s.
The boot latch. I was surprised because the sound seems to be forward of that, and I checked out the seats and found nothing that was rattling, but it was apparently the boot latch.
There was nothing inherently wrong with the latch
They did not mention it in the write-up or verbally, but it is apparently documented in TI-5587. I guess that dry parts hitting together can clack together, but with the right lubrication, they don't. I am dropping by tomorrow and can ask them.
Yes, I thought the rattle was coming from the pillar seat area, but in fact, it was the rear hatch latch and after they lubricated it, the noise went away that noise transmit through the metal so it’s hard to detect exactly where it’s coming from so I would say ask the dealer to lubricate the...
My dealer has been excellent. They invited me to a photo convoy trip with a free lunch out of the blue last weekend. That included letting me drive a $450,000 GTS part way and check out the roadster (see attached). The service department always does their best to address any issues and has...
Unless I got a super sized battery that I didn’t know about, I would say that the, estimating software was coded by an engineer with an algorithm issues. Any one else seeing this.?
Unless I got a super sized battery I would say the estimating software is gone loopy. Anyone else seeing this...
I recently started hearing a rattling noise coming from the back. It turns out the rear hatch latch required lubrication (per a service bulletin), and the noise is now gone. Also, the left rear hatch strut was binding and now as a result, is loose. The dealer ordered a new one as it needs...
Is the leather on the vents still an option? They removed it from the Canadian configurator about 3 -4 weeks ago. I had an old saved config with that option, and when I tried to change/update it the option was removed from the summary list (but oddly still showed up in the rendered graphics so...
