heated front windscreen, only the demist button turns it on. Would be handy to have a switch, but using the remote heating is also a good option.
Mirrors, rear window button. as per the manual.
I had it on a long term loaner, its a nice noise, but it really encourages speed, because you only get the nice noise when accelerating. I didnt spec it on my own car.
I had a BMW iX, as a loaner. Hated it. Except that it heated both armrests, so door and central console. This was very very nice. Rest of it was truly worst car I've ever driven. But heated armrests should be a thing in EV's.
Correct. To try this out, get in, note range, now switch everything on, range will plummet. Now turn everything off, range comes back. Yes the steering wheel heater is probably 20watts, but it all adds up.
My best advice is to get the car warmed up, but be conscious to turn the temp down, and...
The other point, if its cold, and you hit the heated seats/wheel/heater/windscreen, is that the GOM assumes you will use these until the battery is empty, so if you are at 75% that could be 3 hours of driving. if after a few minutes you start turning these off, your range will recover.
UK is cooling, so without trying I'm seeing 280 miles - my old I-pace would be showing about 200. So 40% more from essentially the same size battery. in my view very impressive.
I cant directly answer, but i had a 4 with 22" for 3 months, now in a 4 with 21" the 22" used to tramline a lot, especially in UK a lot of roads get tar and chippings, and the car would find the lines, and really you would feel them. Now on 21" massively reduced. Both with Bridgestone tyres.
I have a 4, after 2 I-Pace. its probably a little slower from zero, but mid range overtaking is superb. If you live in Germany, then the Turbo or GTS could be worthwhile. I think i'd struggle to use the faster acceleration in the UK.
Just picked up my new car, RHD, and the clip is now on the drivers seat belt. No clip on the passenger side, but passenger side has a loop sewn into it, low down, to catch the buckle.
I have come from 2 x I-Pace, now a macan 4, but had an iX for a month when the jaguar was poorly. The only positives I had was the space - so if your transporting 3 x teenagers the iX is ahead, and the heated armrests were nice - but only trying to make up for lethargic and hard to effect...
