I had The fitcamX installed in my Taycan and I love it, it looks OEM, easy to install. I removed it before I sold the Taycan and try to installed in the Macan EV, the physical aspect works and fit, however the connector of the Macan is different. Looking forward for the right model for the Macan EV.
I keep the electric and replaced the model designation for “electric 4S” the reason is that in the city, I park in garages and my own apartment in areas for only electric cars, and no every one knows if the Macan is electric. Btw the car plates in my city are the same for all cars.
I missed the Dog Mode in Tesla, I know we can leave the Macan AC on, but no one will know and could be a problem if you let your dog and pedestrian passing by think is a dog in risk of heat stroke. The car screen(s) should show is in Dog Mode.
I live in a Condo with chargers to be used temporarily, I had a Taycan that I let idle 2 or 3 weeks at the time with few miles of fantom drainage, Porsche is really good at it. Now with my Macan 4S I do the same, the car was for 10 days unplugged and lost 2 miles in 10 days, I set the charging...
I agreed with the one pedal driving Porsche dumb decision, let me clarify, Porsche electric perhaps appeals to a minority of Porsche’s clientele, however brought people like me who use to drive other luxury sedans, I like cars but never go to the track. Is like politics, a car brand can expand...
I have usb with several videos I formatted in FAT32, they worked pretty well in my Taycan’s PCM, after I moved the usb and installed in the Macan EV, few video files have title, most of them appear as a Stereo. I reset the PCM, used another usb, still the same. Also I have the videos organized...
Sorry to heard that but software tech always have bugs and reset is something we have to do always, even your iPhone or android requires reset sometimes, still the easiest way to solve minor issues. I had reset my Macan 4S two times and I have 200 miles on it to solve PCM a minor issue.
Some Porsche dealers such as Tyson’s Corner Porsche in VA are the worst, mark ups, playing games. Carmax, Carvana and online shopping still way better experience than dealerships. I have to say that other dealers in the region such as Bethesda, Arlington are pretty good.
