I’m in Belgium, not Germany 😉, So my speed limit is actual 120km/h on the highway and 70 km/h on B roads … in general I drive 5 over, so not that fast as in France … Anyway it’s colder now so I will hold reservations till April …
Well I’m starting to think there is a big difference between 4 and Turbo, though according to WLTP there should not be … though the average speed on the post of @dgkhn was low and on very short runs I too can get very low consumption …
Well in my case it was because something was actually approaching the car, so it’s a safety mechanism. I was parked alongside road with passing traffic …
Mostly happy only 4 downsides/issues:
- consumption is higher then expected resulting in a lower range
- HV software error and E sound, once and cleared itself …
- car is back at Porsche trunk will not open anymore …
- also the car does not drive in a straight line, it veers to the right...
If I turn of AC and only use heating, then windows start fogging up rather quickly … however with the button you can cycle quite quickly between on / off I will keep that in mind for the next time …
I do miss the realtime consumption of the iX, it lets me fine tune settings to the max, I see...
That really depends I drove 15 miles from 6 to 2% at lower speeds at 2% I also had a power limit. My turbo on 20 inch wheels gives me 240 miles in mixed driving conditions, less on the highway, like 220, but that is from 100 to 0 ... so real range from charger to charger is 180 miles ...

Thanks for this roadtripping thread, love the info!
One question, though it has impact on the ride quality, did you try deep as setting on the air suspension? (I think it is called deep in English, or the lowest?) It could have an impact on consumption ...
I have the same consumption ... same config as OP, I really hoped it would be more, our iX easily beats this and with bigger battery it has around 65miles more range, this will not be our roadtripping car ... would not have bought it if I had known upfront.
Hmm my iX50 is a smoother ride on 22 inch then my Porsche on 20 inch … The Porsche is way more sporty in every mode, I would call it more firm more direct. On bad pavement it’s a bit too much. I’ve drive the iXM60 once and it lands in between if I remember correctly. In any case they drive both...
While some of you may have had problems with their iX … the sheer number of them on the road, most luxury SUV EV in our country, and where I work there where literary dozens of them on the parking lot … all happy owners. I think there is no manufacture with zero problems these days … I also had...
Have a Turbo as well, have the issue of the boot that is not opening anymore and a few hours ago, HV battery error, unable to charge anymore, please park car …
The boot thing I couldn’t resolve and the car will go in for service.
The HV battery error went away by stepping out and locking it …...
