It's neat, but anyone who charges at home most of the time (me, for instance) does not need the electric sliding port cover. Just my opinion.

I sent in my order for my 4s today because I was tired of playing around with the configurator and really I just kept adding stuff. My original freeze date was 9/30, but it was changed to 9/26 (I wonder if my Porsche guy would have told me?) The arrival date is 12/06, the same as it's always...

For those of us new to Porsche, is there a trusted place online to purchase cosmetic aftermarket parts? I mainly want wheel center caps and body-colored or tinted side markers (reflectors). Basically anything that could help improve the car's appearance. I'm going for a duotone look if I can...

Likewise. This will be the first Porsche I've owned (rented one for a month a couple of years ago). Also coming from a BMW which I absolutely loved. Great car. The 4S I ordered has a high bar to clear. Hopefully InnoDrive keeps you safe on the road. I'm ordering it as well.

My only comment is, please do not snooze and drive. My thought is, why get a Turbo to have it drive itself? One more thing: Congrats and enjoy your new Porsche!

I read this and immediately contacted my SA, as I have the same delivery date. He sent me a screenshot of my order. It's still a 9/30 freeze, and it's still a 12/3 delivery for me. If the acoustic glass situation causes a delay, that'll suck, but it's not so important that I'll wait for it.

Looks great, especially de-badged and without side markers. Wish we could get them in the US like that.
