I think that people riding an ICE before never care about the range of they care, assuming it is easy to find a gas station AND it "charges" in 5' They are concerned about these 2 parameters : ok to find a charger, but if it is a 11kW, and have to stay there for 3 hours....

You can disable the lanekezping by long pressing the small button under the Cruise control stick. About 3 secs. You can see the effect on the screen behind the steering. you will see « off » displayed (vert bottom of the screen)

I believe (developer thinking) that the macan & the SuC initiate a first communication, even if the app didn't told yet to the SuC about the charging request. In my case, it looked like the macan was expecting something, and nothing happened on the SuC side, so it decided to just go to "timeout"...
