I tried it and can confirm it works. How is this not easily findable in the manual? It seems like some of the most important setup steps everyone would need after buying the car.
Does this approach load up your seat settings automatically? I asked my dealer about this yesterday at my second delivery and they said it wasn't possible to save seat settings to the key fob on the electric macan, only the ice version.
My dealer automatically had it detailed by a dedicated high end detail shop nearby. I'm not sure how common this is, but I was shocked by how flawless the car looked after hearing people complain about the way dealerships wash the cars. I have yet to find even a microscratch or swirl on the...
Do you care about how your new car drives? I'm surprised someone who has driven both could be torn, because there are stark contrasts.
The Macan is waaaay sportier to drive. The EQE interior is a bit nicer and the tech is great. I also think the Macan looks much better but you said you were...
I believe the default side blade for non-Turbos has the textured pattern in gray like shown in your picture.
If you choose high gloss black, carbon fiber, or exterior color side blades there should be no texture (same for Turbonite on the Turbo).
There are 2 interior trim options:
- "Interior Trim in Carbon Fiber"
- "Interior Trim in Matte Carbon Fiber with Neodyme Accents"
On the Turbo, I believe the carbon fiber (without Neodyme) is standard, which is why you don't see it as an option in the configurator.
At the dealership here, they decided to sell their launch/demo Turbo variants due to how long of a waitlist they had. But they kept the demo Macan 4s. So either they ignored the 60-day rule or it's more of a suggestion.
My hope is that I can negotiate the dealer down to the get rid of their markup on the money factor by playing a bit of hardball. The price is already locked in, but I assume they'd make more money if I lease from them (even at the standard money factor) than if I pay cash and they have no...
I've never understood the point of soft close doors in cars. They're not like drawers where you can push them closed and then it slows them down / softens things.
For them to work, you have to do some weird maneuver where you very gently push the door against the frame but not too hard and...
There is at least one Macan 4 in Volcano Grey available for test drive. They have others on the lot but not sure if they are customer cars or demo cars available test drives. I test drove the one Volcano Grey one yesterday but it was first available to drive about a week ago. I think you have to...
Are you saying that with the sport chrono package, the throttle response will be sharper on both the sport mode and sport plus?
Even if just sport plus mode has sharper throttle response, I think I'll get it because I can always customize sport plus to use a less firm suspension, and it...
I asked my sales associate to find out more about what exactly you get with the sport chrono package, because the configurator statement about "performance-oriented settings for motor" is very vague. After checking with others inside Porsche, he told me that the sports chrono package provides...
That looks great with the brushed aluminum, but I'm pretty sure that's the chalk (leather package) rather than the limestone beige (leather interior). Otherwise the bottom panel of the door would be black and there would be stitching at the top of the door.
Looks fantastic, though. I'd...
It allows me to remove the electric badge in the configurator for the 4S (I'm also in the US). Actually the option says it removes the model name as well, but the visual shows only the "electric" logo is removed.
Congrats!
I've got one on order with a limestone beige interior and I'm torn on the interior trim (summerwood vs. something else) and accent colors (neodyme or plain). What did you go with? Could you send a photo of one of the door interiors?
