It must really be quite some time now since you last visited my country...!!In fact Greece have one of the best fast and ultra fast charging infrastructure if we exclude the central & western European countries, with almost 4.000 charging points and over 9.000 chargers.Italy you referred to has...
So far it seems similar to what I get on the display for 75% SoC after my cells was rebalanced.
Since your car "thought" it received 61,75kWh instead of 50 you'll get at least another 10kWh past "100%" SoC.I would be baffled if you don't!
:like:
On a flat and without traffic motorway at 70 mph (112Km/hour) constant speed at this time of year with OAT around 12°C without cruise control and as steady foot as possible I consume 1%/5Kms (3.1 miles). With approx 1kWh/5Kms I get a total range of 475-500Kms (295-310 miles). Snow tyres on 20'...
If your error was same as mine you should have seen a couple more % "gain" when the indicator was showing 3-4% for the second time and probably this should be the last.Anyway, when you reach the 100% unplug the car for a couple of hours and reconnect it without using the app neither the onboard...
Tom you must bring down that 9% as well!!Otherwise the procedure most likely will not be correctly completed. You'll gonna see 0 miles range and 3-4% SoC.The charging session must begin when no more additional % Soc after the 12 hour "resting" period passed. You could make circles around your city...
As promised, here are the conclusions of my efforts to get rid of this so annoying issue about getting erratic and completely false readings on my SoC system/indicator.
The 188Km planned trip was exactly the same as all previous times.Same destination, same car loading, mostly the same weather...
Always the app shows different SoC, almost every time shows higher and when I get back to the car and unlock it the app synchronize and shows the updated lower value.Same happens most of the times during charging processes, with the car locked the app shows a SoC from quite some time earlier but...
I was almost certain that the app was triggering something in the car therefore was "responsible" for the drainage. While I was away several weeks ago, during the first 12 days I used the app once and the SoC went down.During the next 12 days the app was accidentally used once and again the SoC...
The local leadership was the first I was presented the problem to.Their reaction was totally unacceptable up to the point to even doubt what I was saying and try to convince me it was related to the low temps and my driving style (which by the way was super conservative).I decided then they were...
Yes,I have noticed such a behaviour but not every time.I would say it happens approx 50% of the times I take the car for a ride.I feel it's likely normal to see small differences however the 30 miles you describe it seems to me quite a large difference.Mostly I see a difference of around 15-20...
According to my findings what appears to be the extra range comes from the SoC % discrepancies. Normally, for this to happen you must also get extra +% SoC readings. If it's not the case then most likely the calculations giving you the first lower range was based on a more aggressive driving...
Miles of range indicator & system get their data from SoC system and kWh/100Km average consumption so it wouldn't be strange to see it changing after a while. Most likely the car systems did some recalculations when you left it and gave you an "updated" indication. Most likely the data the systems...
I'm glad I'm helping other fellow owners facing similar issues!!👍
Obviously I don't know why this is happening as my knowledge on how things are working is quite limited. And I'm afraid neither at Porsche themselves know what's going on here.I'm trying to find out if there are any common factors...
Don't know if such a behavior could indicate some kind of feature problem with the car but at this stage I really don't think there's indeed something wrong with it.The system must somehow "remember" its battery capacity boundaries. It reminds me of when a window looses its memory and stop moving...
There are so many threads I could use to post my experience, however I thought it would be a way better idea to introduce a new thread regarding the SoC readings and the associated battery actual SoC (not the same thing, unfortunately,as I recently realized!)Besides, this thread will most likely...
...I wonder if anyone else had check if the kWh the car received according to a charger are the same or nearly the same with what SoC % reports the battery received.
The other day I plugged the car to a 22kW public charger and got 31kWh approx.almost the 1/3 of total battery capacity (33%). SoC...
Basically is a procedure I saw on a YouTube video couple of months ago.The guy called it "battery recalibration",or "battery shells rebalancing" or something like that.If I remember correctly this procedure affects mainly LFP batteries and since we have an NMC one it's likely we don't need it...
My consumption according to SoC % display most of the times decreases 1% for every 4~4+ Kms on the highways, driving steadily @ 120-125Km/hour.OAT 15° C,no wind, 20' wheels. However there are times I see 1% drop every 2 Km or even less without any changes in driving style/road/weather.Such a SoC...
Yesterday evening after a 183Km 2 hours drive @ 92km/hour avg speed the displayed % reduced from 70 to 18, so a total 52% was used according to SoC indicator. However the displayed avg consumtpion told a completely different story!! It was just 18,5kWh/100Km! That means I "burned" 18,5kWh X 1,83...
