Sorry for the basic question but I’m far from a showroom and can’t seem to find the answer in other posts.
In the configurator I see the option of a Race-Tex fancy $850 luggage cover for the rear space. Does the car come with a traditional, non-$850 luggage compartment cover? I assume nothing is available after-market (and am aware of the Porsche tax…)

Thanks!

Unfortunately the trunk cover is rigid so if you have a higher trunk you have to remove it.
On my previous Audi it was made of roll-up fabric and many times I loaded taller things, if a little it fit, if not it was enough to leave it rolled up in its container.

Common Porsche Macan design from the beginning, ICE and EV. Easily removable (2 small string loops, slides out of bottom mounts) for times when you need taller storage. Removes in 5 seconds. Leave it at home, or you can put it up by the back of the front seats.

Is it also possible to store it inverted (upside down) at the trunk floor and load the trunk this way on top of it or it's not that much rigid and it might get destroyed?
