I have the passenger screen set to display music playing. I can see the song playing while the vehicle is in motion. If the passenger touches the screen to go into the menu, i can no longer see it displayed. I think this is the factory setup, and how yours should work unless there’s a software bug.
This has occurred twice to me, after having the car in the stereo shop or PPF shop for an extended period of time.
My experience is low charge of the 12V battery after sitting for some time may be the culprit. In both cases after driving for an extended amount of time, turning the car off and...
Turbo with sport chrono. Drive settings normal no setting saves, Sport and Sport+ you can configure and save. You can select suspension setting, Porsche sound, wing, etc.
22” are quite comfortable. Lots of options on air suspension for comfortable to firm driving experience.
I drive mine in sport suspension, lowered position and it’s quite sporty And comfortable.
Normal suspension suspension is quite a bit softer and smoother For those drives where you want...
Focal P60 for fronts
Focal Kevlar series for rear
Focal Utopia M 10” Sub in custom enclosure
There are some good guides and product for self install. Crutchfield.com might have more info for the self install details. My stereo shop handled it.
Great to see this is working for you. One of the first we are hearing of TYD now being enabled on a new Macan EV.
This was a great feature we enjoyed on our 911 order.
Update on my install, phase 1 complete. Bose sub out. Factory speakers out. Focal speakers, including 10” Utopia sub Installed.
Still have the Bose amp powering interior multi channel. MoBridge guys working on a solution for this new amp, so we can replace with Mosconi multichannel with DSP for...
Correcting my earlier post, as my Macan was in the stereo shop when I posted.
Yes, this area has to be done in sections. Here is a close up pic of mine. You have to look closely to see the seam.
Our configs are pretty close. I personally like the gloss trim, and had all painted surfaces covered in gloss PPF. I was originally going the off-road trim route, but removed it because I liked the gloss black look.
I think for your final decision, have your PPF shop do a satin film test piece...
Because the Bose amp is a new model, they are investigating. Short term we may keep the Bose amp for multichannel and tap the sub signal. Goal is to replace the Bose amp with better power and DSP as we did in my 911.
Once we know more about the ANC (active noise cancellation) we can proceed...
Not sure on the factory power. We did full speaker replacement with Focal in the doors and dash, and yes multichannel power to cover all speakers.
We usually do a second Amp for the sub. In the above example of my sub boxes from my 911 I shared, we have 850W to each sub.
Going to use the sub area for the amps and DSP. Sub will be a 12” cube sitting to the back left by the seat back. Similar to this from my 911 install, but only A single.
