So the problem cropped up for me again. Drivers side only would not open. Took it to the dealer and they indicated it was an electronic problem where the locking mechanism Han idk wouldn’t release. Not sure what they did to fix it but it was a dealer repair.

I had the same problem with my manual charge door. After walking away and letting the car fully turn off and then coming back to turn it on again, the door opened for me.

That's good that they did. It was almost an oversight because they had one on the driver's side but not the passenger. I think all of the early ones were missing that.

What is the disincentive to do buybacks? They can’t then resell the car as new? Is it the dealer or Porsche that resists it (or both) due to costs?
