I’ve never driven a 4 or 4S, but what you’re describing about the Turbo is correct. To get full torque to unload you have to mash the pedal to the floor, whereas in my previous Teslas, the torque came in much earlier in the pedal’s travel.

Apparently something called VTester is required to allow login since PVD (Protection of Vehicle Diagnostic) is activated on all new Porsches. A work around is being worked on and I was told by someone on Rennlist that it should be available soon
I feel you. But it’s a first gen car, which always comes with a lot of bugs. Just comes with the territory. Once my software bugs were worked out, the car’s been a dream (though in your case it sounds more complicated). Hope you get them all sorted soon.
