It is very odd. I'll try and get a more consistent set of pictures tomorrow. But - yes. If you look at the door straight on then it looks fine - all the gaps around the edges are pretty much the same. If you look along the car then the bottom lip looks like it is sticking out. It could be...

Sorry to say - another UK recent build car with ill fitting manual doors. Dealer spent 15 minutes fiddling with them. Better maybe but differently bad. It *is* almost like they are slightly the wrong _shape_ not mounted incorrectly.

Looks like the battery is on the passenger side under the lining. Interestingly in RHD drive cars the battery appears to be shifted over to stay on the passenger side.
