It would be good to get a comparison with your fixed door - does it also have the flare out at the bottom and the concave dishing that I see on my car?
Also - which part was adjusted on the door mechanism (see the parts diagram) - did the clips [8] get changed somehow or just the hinge?
No.
There is no amount of enthusiastic screwdrivering (30 seconds or otherwise) that will fix this.
Because it is not an "alignment" problem. It is a "this part is the wrong shape" problem.

If you look at the door straight on then it looks fine - all the gaps around the edges are pretty much the same. If you look along the car then the bottom lip looks like it is sticking out. It could be...
Sorry to say - another UK recent build car with ill fitting manual doors.
Dealer spent 15 minutes fiddling with them. Better maybe but differently bad. It *is* almost like they are slightly the wrong _shape_ not mounted incorrectly.
Looks like the battery is on the passenger side under the lining.
Interestingly in RHD drive cars the battery appears to be shifted over to stay on the passenger side.
