I think in Europe we have the advantage of Tesla Super Chargers having the CCS2 connectors and most of them are now open to other brands. I took my Macan 4 to Barcelona last year and used several Tesla Superchargers in France without issues.
You can adjust that little clip that is on the belt, and by the way, there's no such clip on the drivers side, down so that it doesn't hit the pillar anymore.
If you could make one that prohibits the frunk unluck button from working you would really have something there (and at least one customer). The number of times that I find the frunk open is getting scary. The charging cable I keep in there is not exactly very cheap...
Totally agree, one time I had to drive down from the ski resort down to the valley through a pass just when it started snowing. I was in a Model 3 on summertires with no chains. Was the scariest thing I ever did. Have never left for the Alps without wintertires and chains since.
Here's an instructional video for this exact type of chain (RUDmatic CLASSIC | CLASSIC V | MAXI), I have bought the same from Porsche. It's an expensive collection of metal links...
Apparently there's no need to connect the hoop behind the wheel.
I'm not going to practice, instead I'm hoping...
Oh, and another thing with the TWC, you have to open it up to all EV's.
That's because the TWC has three settings:
Only your Tesla, identified with the VIN
Only all Tesla's
All EV's.
So if your charging location is accessible to the public you might want to think about that.
I have been charging the Macan sinds september now with the Tesla Wall Connector Gen 3 without any issues. I get the same 11kw I got when I charged my M3.
I also started charging with a schedule that I have set in the app, starting at 02:00 and ending at 05:00. That also works, what I do notice...
I realize that, but the first thing the insurance companies ask for when a car is stolen to get both keys. If one of them was in the car than they won't pay out.
It's in my insurance policy and not even in the fine print.
Just to give my thread a bump...
Anyone technical enough to answer this question: plug and play isn't working again after the non connectivity was solved. I'm not going to make a big deal out of this since everything else is now working again so I'm not going to do a factory reset. But I was...
What I noticed is that sometimes the cover fits and sometimes it sticks out more. I seems that the electric mechanism sometimes pushes the cover out more than at other times.
