I'll jump in - as I just finished 2 weeks & 1,700 miles in my 4S with the HUD. Initially the HUD is a bit distracting - perhaps (when 'fully deployed' with Porsche navigation) even overwhelming. After a week or so it became 'normal' - in fact, I found navigating with it easier than referencing...

If you're able to charge at EA... Don't change a thing! Are you using android or Apple?

Just opened up my Porsche app... There is an update. I'm currently headed out of town, but wanted to report the information.

Quick update.... After recently updating the Porsche app on my Samsung Android phone, charging at EA has no longer worked. After speaking with Porsche this morning, they acknowledged the issue, and have escalated it. Will update once I know more.

Thanks for the note. I can charge at EA chargers, but the Porsche app is not working properly, so I need to call EA each time I need to charge.

Thanks for the note. I did try both ports, and tried both with my Lectron adapter, and the hotel adapter.

I tried... No change. Unfortunately, even after deleting / reinstalling the Porsche app, it continues to bomb out when charging at EA chargers.

So... Porsche app shows charging being initiated, then bombs out. I have tried this with the J1772 adapter provided by the hotel, and my own adapter, same results. Any suggestions? The charger shows green, then a blue flashing light. Thanks!

OK... Made the trip from Sanford to Boca Raton... Weather was warm, 83 (28 c), and I used the AC at 70 degrees. Not as good as Day 1, but still very pleased....

Well - this MIGHT be the first reply EVER from the Auto Train! I'm 4:30 in - we left Lorton 15 minutes early - and are supposed to arrive Sanford 1 hour early. We shall see. For those unaware - the train ride is approximately 18-19 hours. I will absolutely report back how the leg to Boca goes...

That's very interesting - I had 'always' thought that using the heated seats was more efficient for battery use than using the heater. Do we have any evidence of the difference between the two? Thanks for bringing this up!
