Not sure if this is the solution as mine and other cars are losing charge even if it's cold outside and around 6-10 degrees in the garage. This function is saying that it will cool down the battery when it's too hot outside. I would definitely not consider 6-10 degrees (Celsius) as too hot.
I personally can not confirm that the app is responsible for this. There are times where I do not use the app at all (for example during the night while the car is charging in the garage), but next time I drive the car the SoC decreased.
Very good summary! As I am having the same issues, I guess I'll give it a try. But as I understand you, this hasn't fixed the root cause, right? You "just" figured out what's happening.
BTW: In the outofspec review on YouTube about the new GTS, Kyle mentioned that the new Macans in all...
I guess all of these issues related to the SoC can be summed up to: You cannot rely on this car. No matter if it's losing SoC or if it's just not displaying the SoC correctly.
Just imagine this would happen in a gas powered car. You fill it up in the evening and next morning half of the tank...
Still same issue for me. Not possible to charge to 80% anymore. This time it ended up at 76% even though the app told me it reached 80% 8 hours ago. I also experienced a huge drop in range even though my overall consumption actually decreased. At 50% of charge it shows me around 120 km of range...
I don't want to destroy your hopes, but it's not the same plastic as the Macan 4 / 4S. The ones from the GTS are pained in partially gloss black or silk black.
Might be but to be honest: I don't care what the reason is. If I would have filled up my former gas car with gasoline in the evening and in the next morning I would have had less gasoline in my tank, this would have been a serious issue which no one would accept. So why should it be acceptable...
On the other hand (and I don't want to protect the Porsche centers): What are they supposed to do if Porsche brings out a car where no error tracking is available (no errors are written in the error storage) and Porsche themselves most of the time can't provide support. From my perspective it's...
I do have the same issue but recently I am experiencing something new (I guess). When I start charging the car and the target is set to 80%, after some time (next morning) the app tells me that it reached the 80% and charging is done. Next time / day I get to the car it only has 75% of charge...
I thought I need it to have a more emotional ride. But believe me, you do not need it. Especially as you always have to switch to Sport or Sport plus mode to enable it.
To me this happened two weeks ago but on the rear passenger side. From what you all said, it seems to potentially apply to all the windows (and not only a specific one). I wonder if this even has something to do with software or if it's a hardware issue.
