The one thing that is working in Porscheās favor is their high profit margin of around 40%. They can afford to absorb some of the tariff so that their sales donāt crater completely. Other brands (Honda, Toyota, Kia, Hyundai, VW) donāt have that luxury.
I am sure Porsche would rather sell cars...
I have also scraped the front spoiler of my car a couple of times at the bottom of our garage entrance when using NORMAL mode and coming in a bit "too hot". I have since activated Automatic Lift Mode and not had a repeat.
Scraping the front spoiler really surprised me given that the Macan has...
I have Interior Accents in Silvershade, I donāt know if that changes the color of the stitching. I donāt believe it does. I think itās just the light catching the thread and sometimes making it seem a lighter color.
Door, center armrest and dash:
Also note that the name in the menu is not āDynamic positioningā but āDynamic adjustmentā. A better name would be āDynamic brightnessā or āAuto brightnessā.
The car canāt be subject to the actual tariff, but the dealership might jack up the price on all in-stock cars anyway because the cars would be worth more relative to a car that hasnāt been imported yet.
Thatās a shitty position to take but Iām glad your SA is looking out for you.
It's really disappointing that we can't permanently change the NORMAL configuration, and that the car doesn't remember the drive mode it was in during the previous drive cycle.
I'm still not convinced that your Blackvue doesn't play a part in this. I think we'd be seeing far more instances of problems if this affected every car.
The problem is that the dealers won't enter into a purchasing agreement -- I doubt he has anything in writing. At best you'll have a verbal contract which, while enforceable, will be difficult to prove.
I was in a somewhat different position, I was concerned about the dealer markups on Turbos...
I had my car wrapped in PPF and ceramic coated recently, including the wheels, calipers, glass and leather interior. The whole process took nine days to allow drying etc.
The car was never driven during this time (the wheels were off) and the doors open and windows rolled down.
With the doors...
Hereās the thing: hosting a website and running a forum costs money.
So to keep the lights on so you can discuss things youāre interested in, the people owning the site will sometimes allow sponsors who provide related products or services.
If those products and services arenāt of interest to...
Am I crazy or has the Pre-Climate function in the My Porsche app been expanded to allow control of the temperature? I could have sworn previously you could only turn climatization on and off, with the temperature being controlled in the car.
If the spoiler was for improved mileage, we'd be driving around with the spoiler up all the time. Instead it is raised to generate downforce (which improves traction) at the cost of increased drag (which lowers efficiency).
