That is incorrect. The Macan GTS comes standard with Power Steering Plus.

I'm sure that a significant portion of that delay is due to Tesla's slow-walking the opening of their charging network to other vehicle brands. They did that slowly one brand at a time with significant gaps in between, something I can't blame them for.
First off, I doubt the dealer is actually doing the work themselves -- they probably use a local PPF / detailing shop and are getting a referral fee.
I had clear PPF installed on the entire car, and the PPF, glass, leather, and wheels ceramic coated. That took six days and cost about $10K...
Parts availability can be spotty if they are needed for a recall or other campaign.
I needed a replacement resistive heater due to some cutting oil residue from the manufacturing process causing smoke to enter the cabin from the vents (a known problem with an associated campaign). The heater...
I know a few people who paid for FSD and got rid of the car before it became available. Everyone should have received a full refund.
I’m not sure what the problem with InnoDrive for the Macan is in Australia, it is available on the Taycan. The cars are built on different software platforms but...
I want to point out that the results they observed with the Ioniq 5 are similar to what you can expect with the Macan, given that they both have 800V architectures. EA should offer substantially faster charging than even a V4 Supercharger, even if you have to wait a bit longer for charging to start.
It wasn't in the USA, it was in Australia. The socket was physically removed during a dealer visit because it was either never certified for AU or lost its certification. The owner of the car was refunded the price of the 220V socket option.
If operational readiness is established then the socket should be on. If you want the socket to be on while the vehicle is parked, you have to check a checkbox on the exit screen to keep things like the air conditioning running, and that is still limited to 30 minutes.
I’m currently charging at the EA in Santa Monica, California and timed how long it took from plugging in for the P&C authorization to complete and charging to start — 13 seconds.
This also confirms something I have said (and that others have disputed) about the Off-Road package -- it doesn't increase the maximum ground clearance at all, it just uses a slightly higher stance in Normal mode.
This is off-topic, but we are heading towards a future where instead of paying extra for driving assistance and autonomous driving, we will eventually be paying extra to get a steering wheel and the ability to operate the car ourselves...
