Keep in mind that battery efficiency drops dramatically when the battery is cold. I have been getting 280+ miles in the winter when the battery is warm - even in cold conditions. However, I left the car unplugged overnight and temps were around 0F - range dropped to about 150 - 180 (my guess)...
Note that when Porsche validates the SoH of the battery they don't use a snapshot from the OBD but rather drain to zero, charge to 100% and then (I think) drain to 0 again. They did this to check my battery and it was a few day process. Given the extra time and work required to do this, this...
Remember battery temperature also affects range. Drove 125 miles at ~15 degrees yesterday avg 65-70mph. Only used 40% battery e.g. 310 mile range. But I preconditioned before I left. Did the return trip 12 hours later with a cold battery and used a lot more energy.
Looking for advice. My PTS Dark Blue Macan 4 is due in May and I am wondering about PPF and ceramic but not sure it is worth it.
Here is the scenario: The nearest paved road from my house is 2.5 miles away and the dirt roads have lots of dust and pebbles. I plan to keep the car for many years...
With the snow coming I thought I would update this thread and lower the price by $50 - $700 including shipping for 4 unused, Porsche OEM Michelin snows.
I am a huge fan of the greens but Oak Green is an oddball for me, beautiful with cloud cover but too bright/yellow for me in the sun. In any case, enjoy!
