Paint Protection when car lives on a dirt road

Looking for advice. My PTS Dark Blue Macan 4 is due in May and I am wondering about PPF and ceramic but not sure it is worth it.

Here is the scenario: The nearest paved road from my house is 2.5 miles away and the dirt roads have lots of dust and pebbles. I plan to keep the car for many years.

Question: Should I do partial or complete PPF? Is ceramic coating on top of it worthwhile?

BY THE WAY: I am looking to get the work done at Detailing Dynamics on Long Island.

My car occasionally finds itself on a dirt road, but I had full PPF and ceramic coating applied primarily to limit the damage from road debris, bird poop etc. I do a lot of freeway driving with close following distances, and anything that the vehicles in front of you kick up will cause pitting over time.

If I lived on a dirt road and didn't have the time to wash the car every day, I would definitely get PPF. The dirt will act as an abrasive, and any time anything rubs against the contaminated paint, you will scratch the clearcoat.

You're paying quite a bit extra for the Paint To Sample color, you might as well protect your investment.

Mine is now in for a full front PPF and a friend of mine has a full body PPF on his Macan and even after 4 months not washing etc. It’s clean in a whistle and original paint fully protected. Only thing that worries me a bit is in case you have a dent or damage that requires body parts replacement you also need to redo the PPF so it is more expensive in some ocasions and it’s also not a miracle thing of course. It can only protect to a certain degree although the manufactures do their best to convince you the car becomes indestructible .

In your case I would definately consider a full PPF to also protect your PTS.

Any preferences on PPF brand? DD uses Xpel.

I have Xpel Fusion PPF on my car but I also have nothing to compare it against. Wouldn't hesitate to get it again though.

Get the FULL PPF with a ceramic coating! Especially since you did PTS. My guy uses SunTek instead of XPEL. Washes are effortless, granted he washes it

Full PPF absolutely worth it in the case you're suggesting. Any top brand will work fine. (3M, Xpel, SunTek ...) Even more important is finding an installer who has done it for years, and who is well recommended locally.

In my opinion, ceramic might look a little better for a month, but doesn't really change the protection level, because that all comes from the thickness and toughness of the film.

you gotta do both.... PPF is great for big impacts like rocks or road debri...but dirt sticks to just slightly less than regular paint.... But ceramic coating stop that. They really do keep dirt n other crap from sticking...
So i suggest, at least PPF on bra. Everything forward of the mirrors (including the mirrors). And the ceramic/graphene coat the entire car, including wheels!
