Update on my update -
After the dealer had the car for 2 days, it seems that the HV Control module is having issues with the update, so they are ordering the part and will try again after replacing it..
anyone else had this issue during the update?
Playing with the configurator i see nothing about massage seats, are all options have massage? no mention of it anywhere.. including the premium package addons
Also i can't find InnoDrive or any lane assist system as an option, i saw one of the reviews saying lane centering is optional, is that...
My dealer couldn’t run the upgrade on my car (MY25 4S) the update couldn’t initialize according to the tech that worked on it.. anyone else had that issue?
The iX3 is defiantly a more modern EV tech then the Macan EV and even the Cayenne.
BMW is the first german oem that will put on sale this next generation ultra efficient EVs in the market which i guess will come to Macan as a .2 or will be planned for the Cayman/Boxster ev platform or a J2...
you can use supercharger.info for the exact numbers, it cannot show it by stall numbers but the total sites number in the US is about 2850 and the number of them that are open to NACS compatible vehicles is at the low 1900s..
EA currently has over 1000 sites.
The most silly thing with these Tesla charging stations is that the only 800v station in Redwood City is not open to non teslas, or at least not to Porsche...
Slso all the early superchargers (v1-v2) are not open, i know at least 3 stations that are not on the Porsche/"non tesla ev in the tesla...
Saw the same issue with the filters after todays update, i can't tell if it's bad engineering or bad product design..
The way it acts today in this release simply doesn't makes sense!
I just upgraded my IPhone 16 Pro to iOS 26 and now the CarPlay works but when using Apple Maps navigation it doesn’t sync with the HUD/right gauge on the driver dash does not point for directions anymore… used to work with the previous iOS..
Anyone else sees this issue? Am I missing setting...
Pretty interesting to see this from Porsche, many other startups in the fields were working on it for the past 10 years and 0 came to mass market, hopefully no recalls on this one...
That's not correct, i had 6 taycans, some had 11kwh and 19.2kwh onboard and others like my MY25 has 7.2 (40amp!)
My Macan can't pull over 48 amp while the Taycan and other vehicles i charge here pull the full 50amp my charger is rated to.
These are all features that didn't make it to the finish line for the MY24 release and 2 years later they are finally ready to ship... Porsche is taking the Tesla approach and it doesn't seem like a good thing when it's not gonna be enabled to existing owners.
Anyone here had a taycan with bose and can compare it to the macan bose?
To me it's either that something is wrong with my Macan or this is how it's supposed to be, it seems lacking of deep muddy base that is typical to the Bose in the Taycans/eTron i have, so i'm wondering if it's a tuning...
Kinda disappointing that they show simple direction and not the full AR experience on the HUD with the phone navigation.. like how difficult is it to have it fully integrated ?!
