That is the expected maximum at most Tesla SC’s because they are 400v.

I was surprised about this announcement since back on December 5, 2025 I stopped to change at a SC in North Carolina and my Macan immediately began to charge. I received an invoice from Porsche during the first week in January. It was paid on my credit card on file with Porsche.

A point of interest. When looking at the apps running on my 2025 Macan 4. There is an active Digital Key App but unfortunately nothing on the My Porsche app. I don’t think it was there two months ago when I was looking at active apps.

That is definitely the side to err on. My Model S was 1-2% optimistic. Thanks for sharing.

I drove a Model S for 5 years. Like many first time EV owners I worried about total range on long trips. After a few 2500 mile trips I realized it was more about how long we each wanted to drive before stopping, eating, etc. while charging. Then I would just chart out 10% over the speed limit...

Jonrblair. Sorry to hear about all the problems but the speed limit error seems to be a constant in cars with speed limit sign detection. this happens in my Model S as well. I think companies are not keeping speed limits based on location (GPS) up to date. Then the car just uses the last sign it...

This has been oberved by several owners. Mine did it for about a week and then reverted back to correct SoC at destination estimates.

Just curious. Did you try rebooting the car by depressing the volume knob on the center console for 30 seconds?

I also don’t worry about battery temperature. I do remember that my Model S, when very cold (0F), would not slow down well using regeneration. It would take awhile for the battery to warm up while driving. It didn’t display the battery temperature.

You shouldn’t need any app. Tesla SC charging is now Plug & Charge for Porsche and gets charged to your Porsche account. In case you haven’t seen the directions, plug the Tesla cable into the adapter and then plug the adapter into your car. Hope that helps.

The invoice for P&C charging at a Tesla SC took about 2 business days to appear in my charge history In the My Porsche app. The price was $0.48/kWh.

Interesting that it was there and then disappeared. The same thing happened with access to Tesla SC‘s. As we all know, eventually it worked and is now Plug & Charge compatible. Count me as a hopefool.😁

It has not shown up yet but it has not appeared on my credit card on file with Porsche either. I also used EA yesterday and that is in my Charging Service. Maybe it is just taking Porsche a while to update.

I used a Tesla SC in Warsaw, NC last night and it was full Plug N Play. i didn’t have to do anything to start the session in the car or the app. Sweet.
