I turned off ALK yesterday on the way home. The car as expected felt more nimble and little more ‘darty’ point to point.
Interestingly when switching on adaptive cruise (which its referred to even when you have DriveAssist) it shows as ALK being disabled but it’s certainly on. Might be an...
I use DriveAssist a lot, can’t say that I felt/observed any of the experiences you have but my consumption seems wildly off compared to others so perhaps there’s the link.
Despite improved weather, the month was mixed. Longer trips have lowered the overall average, while shorter journeys were generally higher, with several exceeding 3 mi/KW. The typical commute is 21 miles at speeds over 70mph, with an average speed around 45mph. Drive Assist and regenerative...
Plug and charge works well and more recent inclusions of MFG, GRIDSERVE, Shell and BP certainly help its value.
Not sure I’d pay the £15 a month thereafter mind. That’s a few extra KW’s to break even.
I’ve been generally more impressed by the increases in infrastructure over last few years...
My average speed is pretty high as commute is around pretty glowing parts of the M25 and I’m averaging late 2’s, possibly high 3’s. Knock .3 off that for colder periods.
Driver Assist
22’s
Regen off
Ok so had my first ‘Bose gone missing’.
No interior/cabin audio. No preamble, just simply not working after jumping in it.
Unplugged Bose rear connector (albeit for 2 minutes) and nothing so will leave it locked and see what happens tomorrow.
Just as an FYI incase yu aren't aware, but upgrading to 11kw is actually an infratstructure challenge, not a charger issue. It might be the charger is capped at 7kw, but swapping it out will not resolve the issue.
Apart from one glitch in PCM where the icons overlay… I’ve not experienced any other issue with my car. I had quite an extensive build with several technology options (Drive Assist, keyless, HUD, Remote 3D park etc). It’s two months old, just tipped over 2k miles.
These are now available as an OEM option

Forgetting before, but OBD ports generally shouldn't have power after locking the vehicle by design for security purposes. How most vehicles were stolen prior relay theft becoming increasingly common and power being revoked from OBD units.
I have a MY26 car with Drive Assist. I have to manually adjust the speedlimits when it changes, by pulling the cruise stalk towards me.
Not sure if thats a setting I have amnedmed or how its configured from the factory, but its my preference to avoid those phantom braking sceanrio's mentioned...
In fairness majority or my mileage was a trip to Bristol, Manchester, Leeds and back south. Average a solid 2.7 @ c60mph on this trip over c600 miles.
Solidy used Drive Assist and no Regen. Need to experiment with the later with the former activated.

I think I’m struggling for MpKW, even though I’m averaging 2.7kWh I’m getting less than 230 miles to tank, which appears lean (2.7 x 96 = c260).
Interesting reading.
I completed my first longer trip around the UK this week, around 650 miles over the last two days. I averaged 2.7 kWh (4S, 22s, regen off), and found charging generally easy when it worked (though I would suggest an infratctusrue rather than a vehicle issue). I was...
