I turned off ALK yesterday on the way home. The car as expected felt more nimble and little more ‘darty’ point to point.

Interestingly when switching on adaptive cruise (which its referred to even when you have DriveAssist) it shows as ALK being disabled but it’s certainly on. Might be an unintended happy medium that you only sacrifice consumption and ride quality when you have the assistance ‘on’. Didn’t notice any consumption difference, but will continue to monitor.

I still don’t experience the jerkiness and other problems (or unexpected ones anyway beyond the numb’d steering feel).
