Was at my local IKEA and was just starting to back out when I got hit with an assistance error warning. That in itself was not a surprise (which is terrible to say) but to the fact that the reverse camera didn’t turn on was. Anybody have that happened to them? I tried “locking and walking”...

One thing i was going to try but haven't was just disabling the lock function and leaving the car unlocked with no valuables. Not sure if that would help or not.

This happened to me as well in Canada. I tried to disable the car alarm to no effect. Had a guy give me the gears over it as well. I ended up sitting in the car watching youtube videos since the ferry ride was short.

Interesting … I brought my car in yesterday because my parking sensor wasn’t working. They said they tried to apply software fix and it stalled and as a result they need to keep it overnight. Wonder if they tried to install the new software on mine as well?

Are those Swisstrax? And if so do you have an issue with them coming undone if you turn right into your garage opposed to turning left into the garage? Thanks in advance

Turns out my Assistance Systems Error is specifically related to the Park Assist/Sensors. Effectively everytime I hit reverse the error comes up and there is no more proximity beep while parking. Cameras still work .... so I lowkey kind of like it .... 😆

Yup that's precisely how the three of them termed it. Its small relative i think. I think the results are great!
