"Driver of luxury Porsche caught speeding at more than 120mph on leafy Cheshire road" Article

All manner... Have read though if you need a bed time read: https://www.gov.uk//government/publications/home-office-approved-speed-detection-devices-march-2007 Detectors and camera databases/GPS location etc is still technically legal in the UK (perhaps not elsewhere in Europe but I'm no expert)

New UK Teslas come with "grabbing stick" - Article

Yeah itā€™s a bit of an insulting ā€˜jokeā€™ on folks that have been patiently waiting for two years or more for RHD variants. Thereā€™s lots of very disgruntled Tesla people. They could have handled this far better - but then again Tesla customer services is a law unto itself.

BMW XM. What are they thinking?

Itā€™s the automotive equivalent of ā€˜brutalistā€™ architecture. That only took 40 years to gain some (through gritted teeth) sense of admiration! Even thenā€¦??

    MacanE spottet in Denmark

Possibly not, but itā€™s odd the CCS port (that we know of) is on the same side as the driver on a LHD car. Thatā€™s what leads me to suspect both ports are CCS equipped. They look like mouldings in the bumper rather than (fake) pipes to emulate the current car.

Charge port on each rear flank too. Wonder if they will be CCS on both?

New Macan EV Spotted Charging at 172 kW

Given itā€™s an SUV and a bit more weight isnā€™t an issue, itā€™s possible they fitted another CCS2 port on the opposite side of the car.

Flipping switches in the battery instead I see to make it appear like 2x 400v batteries in series or parallel. Novel approach or perhaps not.

Honda, Qualcomm and Sony and the Afeelaa EV

Sony Global video from CES 2023: Their prototype looks 'inspired' by the 911 and Taycan flanks and shape. Wheels too, seem very Porsche-esqe! Imitation is the sincerest from of flattery...?

Does driving a Taycan make one an official EV and/or Porsche brand ambassador?

Theyā€™re out there alright! One day in 2017 I pulled into the Waitrose (maybe it something to do with shops that begin with the letter ā€œWā€) car park in Ipswich in Suffolk, UK in our new model X. These were somewhat rarer than they are now. No one barely give a toss now. Anyhow back then, weā€™d...
