Yes one is VTS without the immobiliser and the other is VTS+ I need to confirm it's the correct one and then work out if it keeps the warranty and if it's the same functionality. I think the immobiliser only can be done on the next switch on - perhaps by which time the unit might be removed...

Think the price varies. My local dealer wants a lot more as they don't really want to do the works. I also didn't buy the car from them which doesn't help. I'd really rather they had a better security option that allows a pin to start option on the actual PCM !

I wouldn't be surprised if it is the same one but just with Porsche markup. Cost to install is £350 with £159 a year subscription... Porsche charge £750 plus £269 p.a Big difference.

yes i know - the PVTS+ is S5 level but it's quite expensive still at £750 + £289pa The fact the porsche app is a bit flaky doesn't help and this one comes with a seperate app with it's own map backed by vodafone.
