Hey Bay Area, We purchased my car (EV) in Walnut Creek and I'm happy with the service however Marin is much more convenient. Pros & Cons of each would be appreciated.

I’ve only been with Marin. It’s a mixed bag with them. To be fair, I bought one of the first Macan EVs that came in (a woman declined to take the one she spec’d months ago), and the service department had zero experience with the car. They couldn’t figure out how to fix the Plug and Charge problem that’s been much reported about, and eventually I resolved it on my own via the forums. But the SA I was working with was over-worked and just rude. I realize that’s a first world problem. But the dealership is frankly too small given the large customer base they serve in Marin. They don’t have enough space, enough inventory of loaners, enough service technicians for all the cars that come in, in my view.

I eventually found a good SA there, but overall, their responsiveness is slow. Again signaling that they just have too much volume to deal with.
