- Rivian R1T, Tesla MYP, Macan Turbo Electric

I’m an audio fanatic, spend way too much time and $ on home audio. Only reason I didn’t get the burmester is because I bought an off the lot turbo and there weren’t any burmester options at the time. The Bose is very good. On par with our Tesla model y, maybe a little better. Leagues better than Rivian meridian system, not as good as Volvo bowers system. For a stock system (on the turbo) I really can’t complain. I enjoy my music while driving. If your system sounds that bad there’s something wrong. You should have service take a look. I’m not a Bose fan but I’m surprised how well / neutral the system is in stereo (turned off all the 3D stuff). This is not the case.
I drove a factory Turbo demo with 7,000 miles on it and the BOSE is horrifically bad. Sounds like a handheld AM radio playing a Yankees game in 1960 in a bodega. Even with Treble and Bass compensation active.
In addition - BOSE says explicitly that their systems are made to not require a break-in. Per BOSE "Bose engineers pre-condition drivers during production and rely on onboard digital signal processing (DSP) to maintain the target response from day one. If any audible change does occur, the system’s adaptive EQ usually compensates automatically."
The Macan EV BOSE is system is not up to snuff by luxury car standards. Sounds like it should be in a base Wrangler.. It would be nice if Porsche offered and update which included something from Bose which enhanced the audio; DSP modification or similar.
