Difficulty opening driver’s door from inside

During the past week it has become increasingly difficult to open my driver’s side door from the inside after returning home. It used to take me 1-2 pulls on the handle. Now it’s taking 3-4 pulls and at one point I thought I was stuck after 8 tries.

Anyone experiencing the same issue and found a solution? I saw a few brief instructions in the manual to open the door if stuck (see attached), but not sure I understand them.

Hi, yup same issue. Dealer had one vehicle prior where they couldn't reproduce issue. They had mine for two days and ordered a door lock actuator from Germany. Part is in and appointment set.

While I have been waiting I have had success opening the door by only slightly pulling on the handle.

Yes, same problem here. It’s very odd, the window even rolls down a little like the door is about to open, but then it doesn’t. I’m taking it into the dealer next week. I’ll let you know what they say. Glad I’m not the only one.

I had difficulty until I stopped pulling on the door handle all the way. I pull about 1/4 of the way and the door kicks open.
