Porsche is teasing an announcement they will be doing on September 6th at 3PM CET.

For those who have a YouTube account, you can set a reminder to get a notification when the feed is live.

For more than seven decades, Porsche has used its famed motorsport operation as the ultimate proving ground for its engineering innovations, prior to being introduced into series production. A time-honoured, trusted path that Porsche continues to follow today. This year in Munich, Porsche is once again looking to the future with cutting-edge technology combined with breathtaking design.

So excited for this. From what they are teasing on Instagram, it looks like a "2-door 911-class EV".

Cool looking all-electric race car: the Mission R with 1,088 hp.

So when do you think we will see some type of production model for the average joe?

Incredible specs and improvement over the current Taycan system.

800KW (1073bhp) from dual e-motors in qualifying mode
- 4WD
- 900 volt electric system
- 340kW charging
-0-100km/h in 2.5sec
- 300km/h top speed

I love the Taycan headlights, but on this front fascia it looks like a the new Ford GT.

The rear is pure sex

I can't wait to see the new glass roof with CF exoskeleton on road cars
