Porsche Charging Lounge

Hi guys,

last week I stopped over at Leonberg (near Stuttgart). It is close to an Autobahn exit, the gate opens while approaching it, thanks to license plate recognition. The place looked new and is well styled according to Porsche's CI. Charging performance is good, as with any other Alpitronic hypercharger. The inside lounge is nice, but amenities are just the same as a (often close by) gas station.

What are your experiences with the Porsche Charging Lounges? As far as I can see, there are only 6 in Europe (DACH) - and no others planned...?

PCM seemed to not prefer it on my routes, so what exactly are the point of those?

I thought there were seven locations by now, but I'm not sure. I know that besides Wurzburg, Bingen, and Leonberg, there are also locations near Ingolstadt, Hamburg, and Koblach in Austria. At the end of May, on my way to Austria, I stopped at the Porsche Charging Lounge Wurzburg. On the way back home, I stopped at the Porsche Charging Lounge Leonberg and Charging Lounge Bingen. They're both great locations, and charging is incredibly fast. Clean restrooms, coffee, tea, and snacks are readily available.

The Wurzburg en Bingen locations were slightly more spacious and attractively designed than the Leonberg location.

They just opened the first one in Switzerland. Have not had a chance to visit them but will definitely do if I ever travel close to them.
