Privacy mode cannot be disabled

My Macan EV 4 has gone into privacy mode and I am not able to get it out of the mode and the Privacy option is greyed out.

I cannot login to the PCM system as well.

Local dealer says there was an over the air update which has probably caused this problem. but Porsche is unlikely to fix it before Q4.

This is unacceptable as I cannot login to the car, access saved settings.

Has anybody else faced this problem, any solutions you have heard about?

I can’t speak to the situation in the UK but in the USA there haven’t been OTA updates that have been pushed out. The only thing that has been available OTA are a few App Center app updates.

Have you tried restarting the PCM by holding down the volume knob by the climate controls?

Thanks, yes I have tried that, but that didn't resolve the issue.

Even I hadn't heard about the update till the Porsche Centre told me.

This is basically what I was going to say. In fact I just had my car in yesterday for an issue with the door lock and there was no update the dealer offered either, so whatever the OTA update was does not seem to have hit the USA yet.
