For those of you who already have your 6th gen, just for fun, what were you driving before making the switch? Curious to see how many have history with 4runners like myself!

Feel free to comment some pics!

1988 1 GEN 450,000
2004 4 GEN Limited 350,000
2020 5 GEN Limited Special Edition Nightshade 38,000
2025 6 GEN Platinum 471

I have always loved the 4Runner. This new one is like my 88' reincarnated with more power and luxury than anything I could have ever hoped for. It is the best 4Runner Toyota has ever built.

Former Jeep owner. Had Jeeps for 32 years; made the switch. I looked at every make, and none compared and/or hade the value, for what I was looking to do with the 4Runner. I need it to tow 3.5k, carry up to 7 passengers, camp/overland, and light offroad.

How did you like the 2022 Wrangler 4xe? I had a Wrangler 4xe as a rental for a week when family down to Miami. I really liked it; I found it fun to drive and liked the one pedal driving and the ability to get 20+ miles all electric, and the roof comes off. Poor ride ride quality, felt every single little bump and the Jeep seemed to always bounce around. Wife and daughter hated it though...

Yep spot on. Solid axles on coilovers, with lots of travel is the reason for the rocking ride, and also the off road prowess. There is no substitute. I find the T4R great for overlanding. The 4xe was quick and lots of fun. I did a lot of city all e- driving. Saved a lot on fuel, enjoyed the stealth driving, and it actually towed the camper really well.

Always wish I could be a two car owner but its just never worked out (yet) where I had a driver and a project car. I am currently trying to find something like a lowish miles 13 ish Civic that I can putt around town in. If it ends up happening I'll be gutting everything just to see how much gas mileage I can get

Wow, so much paid in sales tax on each new vehicle.
In NC they call it a highway use tax and unfortunately it doesn't matter new or used; dealer or private party; its applied every time there is a title transfer with some exemptions/exceptions
