I had a minor issue with the driver’s side window after getting PPF installed and get getting everything including the glass ceramic coated. During the next car wash I found some water running down the inside of the window. If the window doesn’t go all the way up it could cause a leak as well as wind noise.
I did the reset and had no water intrusion during the next wash.
I didn’t notice this on my Macan turbo. But my Macan 4 loaner definitely has this specific wind noise. Both vehicles have the roof rails. May be a build quality issue.
This is what I noticed. Car bloggers all claimed that their test drive is very silent and superb noise insulation. That's because they are having the noise insulated windows. If our car did not opt to upgrade it. it'll be just a normal window. The noise is very obvious when we drive over 100 kmph since it's a frameless door. My 5 series drives way quieter even up till 140kmph. I was under the impresssion that it's a standard thing and didn't think much about it. I'm regretting it now.
