I have put my phone in the wireless charging cradle, but it does not charge.

Do you have to turn on this capability for it to work or is it my case.

My case is a very thin Otterbox and it charges on my wireless charging pad in the house. Pretty much useless if you cannot have a case on your phone for it to work.

Is anyone else experiencing charging interruptions when their phone shifts inside the charging holder?

Yes, on every other bump it disconnects then reconnects. Drives me nutz. Needs something to hold it tight instead of flopping around.

Maybe a door stop wedge...

No disruptions here (on TH) but the phone does get pretty hot

It does get hot, but what's your secret.

No matter which phone I use or how I position it, it will disconnect and reconnect going over bumps multiple times on any given trip. Doesn't disconnect Android Auto, just the charging process.

Oddly enough this is the first vehical where the wireless charger has worked consistantly. BUT.. I do also have a MagSafe case on my iPhone, this could have something to do with it.

Everybody realizes your phone is using a lot of power when connected to CarPlay, using Waze and playing Spotify right? Even with 12v charger, I barely get any increase when I’m navigating while streaming.

My personal experience is that my Galaxy S22+ always keeps charging - not quickly, like it was plugged in, but I’ve only seen the qi2 charging restart after a bump once or twice - and that was off-road (onX rating 4).
No case on my S22. I set it down and slide it up against the lip on the left and forget about it.
I wonder if different phones have different connection sensitivities - perhaps affected by the thickness and material of the case?

Mine seems to charge fine, but wireless charging is a novelty to me. Wired charging is always going to be more effective.
