I’m a little sour about the analog tachometer being removed

Porsche has had the best looking ass's in the game for many years. Inevitable that they get copied. Just like Aston Martin has had the best looking fronts for many years, many brands have copied their fronts.
In the end, it is the total design package that brings it all together and that's where the other brands fail.

I mean, the MKC was released back in 2015

I can't unsee this. Anyone else?

My sense is that they are reaching the limit of what they can do here. This lighting change is different but not necessarily better. Hopefully this isn’t what the future holds relative to design iteration.

I still think 991.2 remains the prettiest

I like the full light bar of the 992. I have a 911 on my list of fun things to experience and was wondering where the sweet spot would be. It could be that 991/992 is it.

I used to like the light bar but now every Hyundai and Kia has a light bar. Makes the car cheaper. Iconic 4 dot brake lights on 991.2 make me hot.

My local dealer has an incredible 991.2 TTS in Lava Orange, 2016 with 5000km on the clock. When my Taycan was quirky with all the faults I was really thinking about swapping it for that 911.

A lot
I really don't like modern 911s.
They're way too heavy and too big.
Yes, they drive excellent, I know.
Another thing I hate is the analog rev counter in the middle of digital screens, very ugly imho.
Another thing is that you can't even see the engine anymore, just fans, no, not a fan, defenately.
I'd prefer the older 911s, like the 930 (don't we all? ?).

And that is how another forum war began ?

Maybe instead of a 911, get a DB11 instead. Much, much, much prettier.

You can’t fix the ugly fat ass of the 992 with a light bar. And those sport exhausts that look like two baboons squeezing out turtle heads were just icing on the shit cake, though moving them closer together does look a little better. On the whole I think it’s better than the 992.1, but that was a pretty low bar.
