Sport Seat Headrest Does Not Adjust

OK, here is something a little unexpected. Finally took delivery of my 4S which has been sitting on the showroom floor for 2 months while I was out of country. Love everything about it so far. I have the 18 way sport seat, and it appears that the headrest does not adjust. Maybe that's Porsche owners inside knowledge, but a minor issue for me personally. Maybe have to find some kind of add-on cushion.

I've been pointing this out to folk on this forum but I think your order would have been too far down the road to be able to do anything about it.

It is clear from the configurator and description that the headrest is integrated on the Sports Seat - Comfort Seat is therefore the more flexible one. Shame on Porsche really as the same naming convention is used on the Taycan where both seats have adjustable headrests.

Congrats on the new car! you will love it!

The comfort seat also has a powered thigh extension, btw, but for many people the side bolstering on the sport seats is what they enjoy the most. The only function that the 18 way sport seats have over the 14 way comfort seat is the side bolstering adjustment on the lower and upper seat sections. The sport seat cannot come with massage and has no adjustable headrest as you are aware. I have seen some neck support options on Amazon that I have used on other cars succesfully.

Headrest adjustability and massage are what made me choose comfort over sport seats. I do love the side bolstering of the sport 18-way seats but I figured on a daily driver like the Macan, I would appreciate the massage and headrest adjustability more.
