Not enough information to advise - a pic would help. If a minor scratch in the clearcoat that should easily polish out with the right products / technique. IF you can catch an edge with a fingernail it's beyond an easy polish and you'll likely need touchup paint. Good technique with touchup paint can give a reasonable repair but you have to know what you're doing (don't just "glob" it on). Unless you know what you're doing take it to a detailer and pay a few bucks to have it done correctly.

Sorry to hear about the scratch. I’ve just been through this issue. I am not sure where you are located but a specialty Porsche shop or other “into it” car shop will have a “chip guy”. They are around. And yes don’t do it yourself. It takes a bit to get the color texture etc correct. Porsche dealers sometimes have one of these folks - body shops not so much as they want to spray everything. Good luck on the search. If you are in the Washington DC area I have a good option. Just touch base.
Good luck

A clay bar treatment might do the job.
No - clay bar is for removing surface contaminants - that is not a scratch. Many people do more damage than good with a clay bar.

Electric Macan EV Scratch in the paint repair IMG_1326
did my door last week as well, was cleaning the car and the end of the cord to tie my shorts, which have metle tips, cought the door while drying the roof, looked like a hair, finger nail could just catch the edges.
Used my DA and polished it out using the fine compund and a polish at the end. Really depends on the depth of scratches.

Yes - it works well to remove contaminents, it also does a fine job on scratches and swirels.
My detailer did it to my car and it looks great, followed by a ceramic coat.
So, Yes.

Sorry to be so persistent - but you are dead wrong on this. In the hands of those who don't know how to use a clay bar it is a great way to INDUCE scratches and swirls. It IS part of the process done to prep paint prior to ceramic coating - the steps usually go as follows:
1. Wash car with product that will remove all grease, wax, prior coatings, etc. Products are available - Dawn dishwashing soap is also quite effective and commonly used.
2. Use iron remover on car - removes rail dust, road debris, brake rotor debris, etc.
3. Clay bar car to remove surface contaminants - tar, dirt etched into paint, bird droppings, water spots, etc.
4. Polish car to remove all swirls / scratches / surface imperfections. ALWAYS DONE AFTER CLAY BAR since contaminants transferred to the clay bar (they get visibly dirty when you use one) will induce some scratches / swirls that machine polishing will remove.
5. Clean car to remove polish residue - commercial products available but isopropyl alcohol works well.
6. Apply ceramic / graphene coating.

Feel free to validate this information with your detailer - Pretty sure he will concur 100%.

I did engineering work for BMW on their factory floor many years ago. BMW required the line workers to cover belt buckles with a microfiber sleeve. They also couldn’t wear rings or other jewelry (not only for paint protection, but also for safety: to not wear something that might catch in moving equipment). I assume this is standard practice with most automakers. I hand wash my vehicles and follow that same practice to protect my paint.
