  1. 2026 Software Update via Dealer - What does it do exactly?

It's not like there are several updates. VR28.13 is the last update. VR28.11 is the previous update that was installed during PDI for my Macan as I am sure for most as well. If you have no issues and want to play it 100% safe you may delay the update to VR28.13. While the update is the same, as...
  2. 2026 Software Update via Dealer - What does it do exactly?

It is very clear WSJ0 = VR28.13 What @craz8 above says is true. Update is exactly the same as released 7 months ago. Zero 2026 features made it to 2024/2025 models.
  3. Dust cloud in unpaved parking lot

If you complain to Porsche they will remove the fan duct and cover up the underbody so no more helicopter style dust landings. If it's a lease and you drive in a sandy/dusty area/desert might be worth a shot. Limited availability so act fast, for the rest of us, enjoy the unrestricted cooling...
  4. Power Steering Plus - anyone optioned

PSP is a prerequisite for RWS so you don't have a choice. For a Boxster which does not have RWS I would not choose it. It makes the steering lighter at parking speeds, and supposedly heavier at high speeds, it's a cheap (for Porsche prices) software option at 265euro (although Macan software...
  5. Replacement Tyres

From the chart posted Eagle F1s are the best.
  6. 90 days later - What I would have changed in my config (2025 Macan 4S EV)

RWS cuts down Macan turning circle by 1m from 12.1m to 11.1m ID.4 turning circle for example is 10.2m
  7. external foil choice

If it’s free I would definitely go for the ice blue, love it, but not enough to pay for it, so mine’s just plain white.
  8. Electric Sport Sound - equip it or not?

AVAS is not monotone it varies in pitch so pedestrians can tell if vehicle is accelerating or slowing down. Plenty of videos on YouTube if you have never heard an EV (example below):
  9. Standard 8 Way Seats

Same, wanted 18-way for superior looks and so much nicer to sit in but unfortunately no massage so had to go 14-way. Another plus of the 14-way is that they are more accommodating to the rear passengers as the space is already very tight in the back.
  10. Electric Sport Sound - equip it or not?

Personal choice, I would never pay for it and even if it had it for free I would never use it, I hate fake sounds EV or ICE. Love sound of proper ICE and silence of EV (stealth mode).
  11. Leaving car for 6 weeks - plug in or no?

I’m using a CTEK ONE I believe it’s called, it’s a smart charger does everything from lead acid, AGM, EFB, lithium, etc. no polarity, no buttons, just connect the small clamps and switch the socket, it does the rest, has Bluetooth to connect with phone & various programs for charging, never used...
  12. Leaving car for 6 weeks - plug in or no?

It’s just an AGM battery you can see it if you remove the small cover. Taycan had lithium 12v battery; rumoured replacement cost: 2k+ Reason not to connect directly to the battery terminals is you’ll be bypassing the cars BMS, the car monitors 12v battery health / any current going in/out / etc...
  13. Power steering now heavy

It should turn in neutral how else are you supposed to use those conveyor-style car washes / winch it on a flatbed / etc. But have never tried it in park or neutral.
  14. [ADVICE REQUEST] 2026 Macan EV Build-Out

I believe there is one with the auto charge ports, I just use my lighter (j/k)
