Hi, have any of you done first service / maintenance?

In my case after 1,5 years and 40k kms there was a popup saying the cabin air filter needs replacing.

Car was at the shop and total was a little over 1k EUR for:
- Additional inspection of water drains
- 40k km service inspection
- Additional bi-annual inspection (every 2 years)
- Air conditioning system cleaning
- A/C disinfectant agent
- Cabin pollen/odour filter cartridge
- Brake fluid x2
- Coolant (concentrate)
- Other consumables / shop supplies

For that price they should’ve included some Blue Steam and adjusted the Power Bands.

Brake Fluid’s “reasonable” after two years. Otherwise, leave it to Porsche to figure out a way to profit from service on a virtually maintenance-free platform.

Cabin filter is certainly a DIY item. If you have the means and knowledge to get the vehicle in the air and pull wheels off the brake fluid change is also a reasonable DIY project (you can make it happen easily with a Motive Power Bleeder). When the wheels are off it's a great time to detail wheel wells as well as clean the wheel barrels. The rest of the work done is essentially "fluff".

The only thing that caught my attention was the coolant. Does that mean they flushed the battery coolant? Does anyone think that could be a DIY? I tend to think anything battery related is not likely going to be DIY.

I’d like to know how they do the A/C cleaning and disinfecting. There have been issues in the past with certain BMWs that had mold buildup.

We recently passed 23,000 miles on ours and the reminder to service message comes on every time we get in the car (3rd circle on the dash). I looked online at what that "routine" service includes and yeah, a lot of stuff doesn't apply and they want like $1200 for it. Crazy. So of course I declined when making an appointment to check another item (warranty) and a minor recall item.

Question is, will that service message go away on it's own when the miles countdown gets hit? I hope so. It's in the way. I asked the service dept if they could just clear the message and they said no, not unless the service is actually performed.

Be happy. The Audi Etron had an annual service schedule.

This almost fake maintenance is a cash machine for Porsche (and other brands... Audi is also terrible) that shows their total disrespect of customers...
Porsche should remember 30 years ish ago... Cayenne saved them, not the 911.
EV is a must have to survive in Europe, they should consider that (and other things...) and stop eating ev owner's money to construct a solid base of EV customers.

if you haven't been watching those OGS mechanic videos...The cool is SUPER important for EV's. it also doesn't appear to be something that can be done without access to the ECU.
A lot of the other stuff can be done yourself, but at least for the 1st one, i'd let them check that coolant system.

why the hell would we need to change the coolant fluid every 2 years? That's insane and ecologically absurd.

so Tesla : almost never, majority of brands 5 to 10 years... Porsche 2 years, because it's a performance car... ah ah

I dont think its about changing the coolant...as much as it is checking the system, ensuring no leaks.

Opens bonnet, checks level, closes bonnet, that'll be 300 quid sir, no no don't worry it's already included in the 1K service with the cabin filter and brake fluid.
No wipers are not included in the 2Y service don't be ridiculous, but they're only 100 quid, oh you need a rear wiper as well? Sucks air through teeth...

Just do the service.
Myself, you mean? Yes, I can replace wipers and cabin air filter. And if I didn't want to, Grease Money will do it for 1/10th that crazy price.
