New software version coming week 36 of 2025

Iā€™m not complaining about a myth nor a unicorn! Obviously, these features have not been fixed, no matter the numerous supposed OTAsā€¦ Iā€™ll check the version history, but to my knowledge, the core android kernel is almost 1 year old. Canā€™t imagine the numerous security issues in such an old...

New software version coming week 36 of 2025

One year to have useful fixes on an android based PCM is a shame tbh: - second screen with apps is useless until you canā€™t select the sound you want on the speakers. We pay for that, and we canā€™t use it. - pause is pause, not mute - you canā€™t sitch off the backside Clim for ā€œeverā€: if you switch...

Real consumption / range / efficiency thread ā€¦ post your Macan EV performance šŸ“Š

Short trip in the city, 4miles/kWh. To achieve that, clim/heat has to be off on my 22ā€™ā€™ Turbo

Real consumption / range / efficiency thread ā€¦ post your Macan EV performance šŸ“Š

Last trip: 2.5 miles / kWh... Which is the same value as for the last 2500 km. Car is able to do better, but not on the highway. Turbo, 22 wheels, magic doesnā€™t exist.

    Macan turbo active aero

They do what they do if they do what they were designed to do. I mean, I don't understand why the battery temperature stays so low, starting at 9Ā°C, and staying around that temperature, even with a high discharge rate (which usually generates heat in the battery due to chemical reactions). And...

    Macan turbo active aero

Has anyone tried to see if these flaps could actually close themselves? Maybe with tape or sewing thread? Or maybe under cold weather, they close when you start the car? Iā€™m very curious about that behavior, because I think that the battery stays very cold even on the highway

Turbo arrives next week - serious concerns

Iā€™m jealous: delivery day was a so wonderful day, that I would like to live it again šŸ˜‹ Amazing car, I had one problem with the Plug&Charge, first world problem !

Climate Control: Heating Capacity and Impact on Range?

Sorry, but I would like to be sure: is it better regarding efficiency to heat: 1. With A/C on 2. With A/C off (so the heating is done through some resistance with very very bad efficiency)

Serious Design Flaw - No easy access to vehicle if 12v battery is very low

Who actually had an issue with the 12v battery? My car was in the parking lot for 16 days, not plugged, and everything was fine, HV battery SoC 73% to 72% and no 12v battery issueā€¦ I have the comfort access, it was activated as always.

Reminder re frunk / hood / bonnet opening when washing car: high pressure water may open it

the only purpose of the emergency key is to lock the car, so itā€™s not so weird! The only way to emergency unlock the doors is with the keyfob/windshieldā€¦ speaking of that, I didnā€™t try to lock the glovebox, I think we need to use the emergency key, which is weird!

    Expected depreciation?

The problem is not the feasibility but the price, moreover with Porsche / Audi. For instance, Porsche states that the battery price is 18799 euros ht, as per my Turbo original invoice. Imagine that I want to have a new battery, would they charge me 18ke + work, or, 50ke like with the Taycan...

Piano black climate control: how will you protect it?

Frankly, tequipment film is just perfect, why would you choose another solution?

Had car since november only been able to drive it two days !

Hard to believe that only 3 cars have issues that canā€™t be solved by replacing problematic modules + totally reset the system. Whereas all the others cars with the same firmwares are almost problem free. Porsche Software+electronics engineers suckā€¦ Really. Strongly. Amazingly.

How much phantom drain do you experience?

You saw, for instance, 72% and 2-3 minutes after driving, 69%? if so, thatā€™s strange! Even strong preconditioning is not able to consume 2/3 kWh in a matter of minuts

From Hungry to Efficient: When Did Your Macan EV Start Becoming More Efficient?

So your average consumption is 27kWh/100km, no matter the conditions? Ouch šŸ¤• Mine is 26kWh, 80% of the time on highways (120-145 km/h), always cold weather, rainy, and lot of time idle with me playing in the car, often 4 people in the car and 22ā€™ā€™ wheels. Only 2000 km so far since end of...
