    Rear Camera Wash Function šŸ‘

Coming from an Audi Etron Sportback Launch, which had 16 cameras, the Porsche system does seem rather underwhelming and under-functional. the front camera has different surround which doesn’t seem to have the bobble of water jet, and I didn’t see the option in the same place on the screen when...

    Rear Camera Wash Function šŸ‘

    I haven’t found that function I’m afraid.

    Pre-wired dashcam connector location?

I'll feed back once mine has been installed in January. The UK spec Macan comes pre-wired so I'm hoping it will be easy enough. I didn't have any issues with the Blackview draining the battery of my etron, so I'm hoping for the same on the Macan.

It's the small things… Porsche making progress in catching up tech-wise

It’s Bluetooth, so not additional tech required. It connects to your car really quickly too - no delays or temperamental connection like in my previous car (Audi)

    PROVENCE Macan EV Photos Thread

Trying to capture the proper colour of the blackberry leather is also impossible ? The interior door panels definitely seem brighter than the seats, due to having the ventilated seats with perforation all over I think. It’s growing on me!

    Rear Camera Wash Function šŸ‘

As a lover of all things gadgety on my cars, I’m really impressed that there’s an auto rear camera wash on the Macan. It saves me having to grab the kitchen roll every few days to get rid of the grime from winter road spray. Sometimes it’s the little things that impress the most eh! I only...

    Adaptive Cruise Control Fault

I was referring to the config for setting it to automatically adjust for speed limit signs.

    Adaptive Cruise Control Fault

It’s a different config on UK spec cars, but thanks for the info :)

It's the small things… Porsche making progress in catching up tech-wise

Blimey - I’ve had nothing to that level. Just the Innodrive related issues. To be fair - ai’ve had worse on a new car. My Evoque a few years ago nearly got sent back after 2 months as it had spent most of that time either on the back of a recovery truck or in the dealership garage. However - for...

    Pre-wired dashcam connector location?

It is. It’s yet to be installed purely because I only got the car 10 days ago and need to find time to book it in with our usual installer.

    Pre-wired dashcam connector location?

I had a Blackview on my previous car, and have bought the latest model this time around for my Macan (husband also has the same on his Taycan and ford Ranger). I'd definitely recommend them over the standard Porsche offering.

    Expected depreciation?

My Audi e-tron 55 Sportback Launch Edition cost £87,000 in April 2021. I sold it in November 2024, at 3.5 years old with 40,000 on the clock, for £26,000. So a 70% depreciation in pretty much 3 years. My friend was incredibly pleased to have bought such a large and high quality car off me for...

    PROVENCE Macan EV Photos Thread

I find it's really hard to accurately photograph Provence. Depending on the light it can be anything from pastel (see my profile photo) to a seemingly dark smoky purple in low light. Personally I love it, but I can see why it might not be everyone's preference. The blackberry/black interior...

Annoyance: auto dimming high beams only start at 40 mph?

Well this answers why I have been wondering what the hell has been going on with them! I left an Audi e-tron Sportback 55 Launch Edition for my Macan, and since then have been wondering why the auto high beam appeared to be so temperamental. The e-tron set up was so much better, and came on at...

    1000 miles in my Turbo

I'm not rural so don't have those type of issues with it, other than on smart motorways where the run off from a slip road actually continues in to the hard shoulder that's open as a smart lane. Can you programme the diamond button on the steering wheel to turn it off, to save you having to...

It's the small things… Porsche making progress in catching up tech-wise

Definitely not a silly thing to do! I did exactly the same with my Turbo and its instruction manual 10 days ago, and have since started pointing out functions on my husband's Taycan that he didn't realised he has had for the past 18 months- because he doesn't do the same lol

It's the small things… Porsche making progress in catching up tech-wise

Having upgraded from a 3.5 year old Audi e-Tron Sportback 55 Launch Edition, it still surprises me that functions such as Innodrive aren't already perfected, as the Audi was great to drive with the same intelligent cruise control functionality. With Porsche and Audi having the same overall...

    Adaptive Cruise Control Fault

My lane keeping assist is set as on all the time. That works fine. It’s just that when the adaptive cruise control is on, it only slows or accelerates for other cars - not for drops or increases in speed limit

    Adaptive Cruise Control Fault

I had the same issue yesterday. I thought the recent navigation update (and cache clearance) that fixed the traffic sign recognition fault was what was preventing it from working, but since installing that and clearing my cache, the warning message has gone and the cruise control now works, but...

Delete model designation on side blades?

in the UK there is the option to delete model designation on the rear, and by default it isn’t on the side blades - either the model or the word ā€˜electric’
