Yes on the 18 way with massage. Those 18 ways are awsome and we would have done that. The massage is better than my X5 comfort seat version, bit noise but you can pinpoint critical areas ?.
Very similar spec to ours, as well as likes, not missing, etc. We just got a 4 as S not available, but with 14 way massage due to bad back in the family. Afraid I would be missing power, but still enough there. Mash it in sport+ and it's plenty quick. Great car so far, well worth the wait.
Missed adding black out logo and black electric branding. Would add rear steering next time and make it an S if it was available before locked in. Love comfort seats with massage and interior full leather, HUD, and suspension. Software UX/UI is Meh. Taking it out for its first snow run tonight...
I've emailed Porsche Advisory Group about this issue for what it is worth and asked that they relay this issue to the appropriate folks. I will let you all know if they respond, or give me a contact to follow up with.
We have 60 amp breaker on dedicated 100 amp service feeding ChargePoint Flex set to 48 amp. Max we have seen pulled 9.46 kW at the very end of 60 kWh session . Garage is unheated so temps in the low 40s F during this charging session.
You are the man for keeping this on the burner. Please let us know if you need additional signatures, letters, etc to support escalation. This ultimately may lead to a better vehicle. Also might be worth reaching out to Timo Resch if you have any contact info with a link to this thread.
Got the 20" standards on now with Alpine 5 from dealer. Actually look a bit better than I expected, and I'm glad snow and mud will have minimal access to interior wheel housing. Price sucks though. Got to take a peak at power usage metrics for 20's with snows vs 21s with summers at some point...
X5 40i feels ponderous now when I switch back and forth. Still trying to mind meld with new Porshe logic for software controls after 5 Beemers, but it's getting easier the more miles I rack up.
My X5 2020, which is a pretty mature product, still has the occasional software problem. Done 2 resets over the last 4 years. As a former CTO/CIO I feel I can safely say after 40 years in tech I have never seen software app(s) other than simple ones, that were bug free. The reasons for this are...
@Diego Eng=control freak. : )
One thing I've noticed about dealer service with this vehicle is the inclination for them to reach for a "full reset" when encountering issues. Not all my preferred settings came back after I dealt with getting the plug and charge working the other day at the...
