@Doggo that's what I did. $ US 5200ish from Porshe dealer.Have been looking around at this and can't seem to find rims that work. Possible the ice macan rims are an option? Alpine5 and winter2 seem like a good choice of tire.
Worst case can get the OE 20" rims with (likely) alpine5, but it's like 6k delivered
Scroll over 2 standard S 20". Not terrible 5300$.Agreed looks much better, but what 9k for winter 22s+35profile ain't nobody got time for that
great write up. For me 20s generally better in the snow than 21s. I have 21 summer and 20 winter wheels. Decided to go with winter wheel/tire cause we have tough winters with wheel damaging salt and gravel and I go .On my Macan 4, I have 21 " Macan Design 8.5ET27/10.5ET47. The best fit winter wheels I could find are from Braelin.
BR10 in 21" - F: 9ET30 gives -9mm inner clearance and +3mm extended wheel position; R: 11ET50 gives -9mm inner clearance and +3mm extended wheel position.
BR10 in 20" - F: 9ET25 gives -4mm inner clearance and +8mm extended wheel position; R: 10ET40 gives +13mm inner clearance and +1mm extended wheel position.
BR08 in 20" - F: 8.5ET25 gives +2mm inner clearance and +2mm extended wheel position; R: 10ET45 gives +8mm inner clearance and -4mm retracted wheel position.
I would have gone with the BR08 20" wheels to save cost on winter tires and I prefer to have a "+" inner clearance with a neutral wheel position.
In the end, as I leased my Macan that will see only 3-winters, I decided to just buy winter tires (Michelin X-Ice Snow SUV F: 255/45R21; R: 285/40R21) and swap tires 2x per season. My indy shop will remove/mount/balabce for $25/tire.
