    PROVENCE Macan EV Photos Thread

Wife’s 4S that just had its PPF and coating done. An awesome color in different light conditions.

Poll: How many actual Macan Electric’s have you seen in the wild?

From this past weekend, I’ve seen 3 random ones, all in west Los Angeles. In the Bay Area, in my area, I’ve only seen the same 3. They’re selling but I don’t really see them around.

8, 14 or 18 Which seats are best for rear leg room?

Rear seating room is a lot more generous on the Model Y. More leg room as well as flatter butt seating for 3 people. as for the seats, I don’t see the difference in the rear from the 18 or 14 way. Visually, the 18 is bigger from the rear. My wife has the 18 way in chalk leather and this loaner...

Protecting your front lights with wrap?

Saw your damage in the other thread. PPF probably wouldn't have protected it much with it being plastic. Best case, kept it all in intact but still shattered. PPF installers are told not to PPF them but they'll do it still if requested. I'm having the DRL and headlights PPF'd. It'll help at...

Is the “Coming/leaving home light function” standard on the Turbo?

It works the same in my Taycan. Took me awhile to find that out, too. Does the Macan do anything for the headlights?

    Tariff anxiety . . .

Took care of my paperwork today. No tariff charges so the price was the same as when I placed the original order last November.

    Tariff anxiety . . .

My Macan has been at the dealer since last Friday and going through PDI. Going to be held up a few days due to another software update required. It’s not the backup camera is what I was told. Been going through the numbers and no tariffs in my figures.

    Tariff anxiety . . .

Same with mine. It’s heading to the dealer from Benicia today. Held up because of software but SA said it should be safe from tariffs. Should find out in a few days for sure!

    PPF / Ceramic

On my Taycan, I have PPF on the gloss black pieces of the off road package. Almost identical to where you have the Gulf Orange in your pictures. If they’re plastic and textured like the rear bumper, it’ll probably have a harder time to stick and last.

    Tariff anxiety . . .

Wouldn’t say it’s delayed just yet. My date just updated to April 16-May 10 to be enroute to Porsche center and delivery. My last Taycan, it took a week from the Benicia port to the Porsche center and was ahead of what the app stated at the time. I’m thinking it may be longer this time with the...

    Tariff anxiety . . .

I’ll see what my SA said is true. Ones that have already left port in Germany should be good to go. Mine has been in Benicia since 3/31 and waiting to get to the dealer. Probably backed up at the local port.

"Tariff Adjustments" are coming, says my SA

Dropped off my Taycan today for service and was provided a Macan 4S loaner. Talked to my SA and he said my Macan is ok. It’ll be in Benicia port tonight but was saying that any vehicles that haven’t left port yet in Germany, are like subject to the price hikes.

    Tariff anxiety . . .

Just read the headlines about it. Need to contact my SA since my boat just docked at San Diego and probably a few days before Benicia. Another week hopefully before delivery? Might have to reject it if this all goes down.

Matrix headlights - program euro settings?

Yep, they confirmed that they do not work on Porsche. VW and Audi, no problem.

Matrix headlights - program euro settings?

I’m interested so I emailed them to see if they’re will to do Porsches. They do VW’s as well. I’ll update when they respond.

Matrix headlights - program euro settings?

I think we just have limited functionality in the US. My Taycan has the HD Matrix and does as you mentioned. Auto high beams and it lights in the direction I’m turning as I can see the beams jump around left and right. Full matrix like the video would be cool. Rivian has it on their newer...

PPF Coverage Issue on Macan EV Turbo - Dust Line on Rear Bumper

This looks like the shop used a template and the relief cut is on the bottom. My ā€˜25 Taycan has a similar vent design and the relief cut is up top. The hole would have stretched it thin so there is a similar unprotected area on the top of my vent but the installer put an extra piece in that area...

What's the order / delivery status of your Macan EV? [Update your status if/when it changes]

If you’re on the same boat, my SA confirmed mine is on the Crystal Ray. It did leave Emden then went to Bremerhaven and now back out to sea.

What's the order / delivery status of your Macan EV? [Update your status if/when it changes]

From Emden to Benicia, generally a month. Depends on how busy the route is, especially in Panama. For my Macan, it arrived at Emden on Feb 13. It just left there on Feb 25. My SA says probably late March for it to be at the dealer.
