I posted earlier that my seat has a lump in the center backrest below my shoulder blades. I actually have to inflate the lumbar support to cancel that out, which I don't like to do since it pushes me out of the bolsters.
Maybe my chair was made on the same assembly line as Macan Turbo Driver's. 😂
You can check the fine print of the service in your Porsche app, under Vehicle Details -> Functions -> Data pass.
For the US, the free service includes unlimited data limited to a speed of 3Mbps.
The paid tier gives you 15GB of data at full 5g speed. When you run out of your 15GB, it goes to...
I have the 18 ways and kind of regret them.
I'm too short (5'7") for the shoulder bolsters to really do anything, and it feels like there's a lump of material that pushes into my back below the shoulder blades. I needed to up the lumbar support to cancel that out.
If I were to do it over...
I'm speaking from the US market. I think you're right about it working in Canada. I recently read a thread where a taycan owner (I think) had their matrix lights coded in the US and when he took his car in for service, he told his advisor "Don't worry if the car thinks it's Canadian". 😂
I always like to quote the Magnuson Moss act, which gives you theoretical protections in the US. Practically speaking though, you still have to have the time and money if Porsche stonewalls you or makes you take them to court.
I know this isnt a proper bose or burmester built in equalizer, but as a workaround, since I use android auto, I've been using my phone's equalizer to tune the sound and it's been working pretty well.
This is the Samsung sound assistant control panel for example:
Ok, now that I've gotten a chance to take a longer drive, I can confirm some of my earlier observations with innodrive:
The car seems to be more centered in the lane now
At highway speeds (over 20ish mph at least) It takes steering inputs/corrections much easier with less effort. It also...
Tested my HUD again today:
iPhone car play with apple maps works ✓
Android Auto with Google maps does not work ×
Android Auto with Waze does not work ×
My car has the VR28.13 update
Thw pre wiring puts a wiring harness in the upper console above the mirror which provides constant power, switched power, and ground. It also puts in a coaxial video signal and power cable from the front upper console to the rear fender area.
Installation of the front camera is pretty much...
Ok, got the car back from the dealership today after getting the update. Tried out the innodrive on the quick 15 minute drive home had some initial impressions
It seemed to favor the right side only about half the time, and it was pretty neutral the other half of the time. So improvement over...
Another data point:
Just got the car back after the update. Plugged it in at home and it started charging right away. Getting the full usual 9.2kw
Location is southern California
Charger is Autel
No departure time set.
If you change your mind about the Porsche dash cam and you can cancel the order, you can always install an aftermarket camera to the Porsche pre wiring.
I connected my Blackvue 970x using a harness connector I got at a local VW dealership for around $20. Made short work of finding constant...
That's fantastic news if it's part of the update! I have turned lane keeping off because I'm so tired of constantly fighting it putting pressure to go left.
If it's not part of the update, then I might need to ask for recalibration. But thank you for the information.
