I'm not sure what international rules are (and the rules differ from state to state in the US), but for those that have already received theirs, does the windshield have an AS1 line? Most states tint laws, if they allow tint on the windshield at all, only allow it down to that line.
I think the bigger problem is variable climate. Some areas can go from subfreezing night temps to 80+ day temps in a week. If you then switch you can get caught because sometimes it will then drop back to subfreezing after a week again as a last gasp of winter. The reverse can also happen...
That's a great idea. As a variation on it, any chance you could
This sounds awesome, as I also store a box of tissue in that compartment. With that change I'd be a definite sale. :)
I've vote no. There have been NHTSA ordered recalls for some cars when the reverse camera wasn't working or was significantly laggy. I'd argue that the car not going into park when it's supposed to is closer to a do-not-drive level recall because of the danger it can present to safety (both...
Unfortunately they need your personal info so they can generate the quote, because they have to pull your insurance claim and driving record CLUE report. Without that the best they could give is the comprehensive coverage cost (theft type coverage), but not the collision coverage cost.
Shipping delays can definitely through some wrenches into it. For example, the Wolfsburg was originally supposed to be in Emden from Dec 23rd - 27th, but on the schedule released today its new dates are Dec 27th - 30th. It has been in the Emden port since the 23rd, but it repositioned in port...
That looks like a Porsche Design Roadster Dardcore 4w Trolley S. 550mm (21.65") x 380mm (14.96") x 230mm (9.06"). Because of companies like Ryan Air and other low cost ones that are really strict on size limits (so they can upcharge), the dimensions likely include the wheels and handle bump...
One of the things I really liked about the i-Pace was the ability to turn off regen from lifting off the accelerator, and also turn off creep mode. Such simple things, but they really made it enjoyable to drive.
I've only been driving EVs since 2019, but I'm definitely not going back. Part of that is because we still have an ICE vehicle available, specifically a PHEV. Until the charging network is ubiquitous and rock solid we'll likely keep it that way, though I would prefer if all the makers would...
The ODP also changes the front lip on the car, which affects approach angle (ODP allows a larger approach angle, which is also more useful for some steep driveways).
I just received the gift card for PEC LA / ATL drive experience for an order I placed a few months ago. Same expiration as others, EOY 2024. So basically "Here's a gift, you have 2.5 weeks to use it."
Maybe. The US requirements are a lot different from EU requirements (distance, brightness, and response time). That's why none of the manufacturers have turned it on so far, because it's so different and it requires certification for the uS.
Auto high beams are pretty common, and I believe I saw it in the US manual.
Adaptive High Beams are what generally isn't available in the US because DOT / NHTSA made the technical requirements for it much tighter than what Europe uses. Why use something that has worked well somewhere for a...
