For those who had a chance to compare 4/4S and GTS - do you find the GTS makes the car less "wobbly" (what I mean by that is the 4/4s tosses you left and right when going on uneven surface)?
I find the suspension firmer but it reduces the wobbling effect which for me at least contributes to a...
It's a great result, for those observing less keep in mind it's not only tires but also the road - different highways have different compounds and friction differs.
There was an interesting segment of the Out of spec review of the GTS - the hardware is not different, it's just the tuning. So basically you pay the premium for what could have been standard on the base model but wasn't so that the company can charge you extra. This is very common in many...
Well sorry this discussion started with guys asking for "VIN's of the cars being sold for these prices…" - so here you go, it's easy, in my area there are many similar cars to choose from. All I'm telling is it depends on the market. There may not be any cars like this in Orange County ;) but...
As for the discounts, here is a brand new Taycan GTS worth 806k PLN offered on the official website for 677k (see the description) so that's 16% off the MSRP and this is just what's advertised, you will get more than 20% on this one and this is a GTS...
I got 8% on mine custom ordered during launch time - so that's not true.
I agree however it was always <10%.
Now it changed for Macan and especially Taycan in a big way - in Poland at least.
Well this is also not true, EU and emerging markets are all on this level and on 3x the volume so it's...
What do you mean "I can never find it"?
I don't know how it works in US (seriously) but in EU in general the discount is never advertised. There is a listing price and you talk to the dealer, show interest in particular car, perhaps have some relationship with the dealer after previous cars...
Interesting data from Q1:
https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/2026/company/porsche-deliveries-first-quarter-2026-42107.html
All models besides 911 are down, all markets besides Germany are down. Overall seems like a confirmation of everything can find on this forum and almost every review of the...
BTW I get everything and generally agree but also - good manufacturers should not launch a new platform with this many faults as PPE had (take a look at Q6 etron forums, with many more customers it's quite obvious the launch of this platform did not go as it should). For contrast, the newest BMW...
Basically what you get is active lane keeping and active lane change (this is new to MY2026).
Active LKA keeps you in the center of the lane, it's mostly for highway driving and works well if the road is clearly marked, weather is good and curves and not too tight ;) I like it very much, works...
Did you get the impression I wasn't?
It's a great improvement and honestly I was even surprised a lot is clearly being done sooner than with the next facelift (in case of Taycan clients had to wait for J1.2 to resolve many issues).
Hi, I had a chance (wish I hadn’t) to drive an MY2026 loaner.
For comparison, my car is an MY2024, one of the first off the production line (delivered 09/2024). It’s plagued by most of the issues people report here - it’s like it combines this whole forum ;) Surprisingly, it’s solid as a rock...
In this case wouldn't pay for it out of pocket but use the insurance - then they have to justify this expense, connect it to the claim and provide proof it was a resolution.
It will be much harder for them to overcharge the insurance company.
I don't think it's your responsibility to figure out what's wrong.
Take it to the shop, tell them to fix it and repeat until they do it.
Don't accept anything that is not satisfying to you.
It's the only way.
