BTW there is a contact for Porsche Smart Mobility and it goes like [email protected] just replace CC with your country code. Report this and let them diagnose. There are some issues with PCM antenna connector and in some cases replacing the comm module is needed to fix this permanently.
Just hapens every now and then, best to forget about it, accept this as one of many PPE platform bugs and enjoy driving. Don’t expect a reliable moble app and you won’t be dissappointed ;)
There is one example that shows there is no way to justify how bad Porsche f.. this up.
There was an update to the mobile app that allows you to select preferred charging networks like Ionity. Car coes not respect this setting and overrides the route because it’s not supported by PCM nav.
This...
Rear doors close fine because windows go down a little bit more. Front doors don’t close well because windows do not adjust properly in the open position. If you open the roof, front door close fine. In case of Taycar they go down a little bit more and doors close fine.
This is just another...
I've noticed what helps is while driving on highway put the car to neutral and hard brake (mind the safety). It uses physical brakes and hard brake from high speed quickly removes all the dirt and rust.
Taycan has this option "clean brakes" but this is a poor man's way to do this ;)
...so the onswer to "Are model year 2026 Macan EVs problem-free?" is no ;)
And to say it's not refined as Lexus is is interesting, I've driven several Lexuses and it was a horreble experience you'd have to pay me to drive these cars ;)
You can’t do it in PCM. You can use the nobile app to filter if but PCM will override your route.
Only newer cars with uodated hardware will be able to get the software uodate providing this highly advanced feature.
So if you want it you need to buy MY2026.
It was ment to be sarcasric but...
Agreed, in my case having even a light dirt on the car contributes a lot to these systems going off the rails. Another case that shows there are some design flaws in this area.
Yes, the one with more dirt ;)

Notes: (...) In conjunction with Paint to Sample, the function of initiating a lane change via the indicator is not available.
My local dealer told me paint thickness is very important for these systems to work correctly and...
This all comes down to crappy software - it's clearly controlled by something that is half baked. Some people don't mind but there is a ton of such minor flaws that are just obvious bad design or bugs. Plus the lack of OTA updates which could fix these things which you should reasonably expect...
This is an interesting observation - that sales are dropping because simply there are too many alarming stories of issues and people having bad service experience. Look at how many customers report having the heater replaced and often multiple times. I think people who are in the position to buy...
No it's not that. When you park the car and turn it off with a power on/off button it actually turns itself off and all the screens go black. You cat sit in the car after that and it's off. But when you move (to get up and out) it turns itself back on. That's the issue.
This is just one of many small annoyances you just have to accept and forget - this car is half baked on many fronts. Some people don't mind and I would suggest doing the same or else it will drive you mad. Be glad it does not turn itself off while driving ;)
I have one (with air suspension) and it does not help at all.
It's not only driving over bumps but in general breaking over road imperfections.
I think this shows this bulletin is BS. It's not "by design" as it does not affect all cars. I've driven loaners with PASM and air suspension without...
Well, that settles it:
