Seems everybody nowadays want instant gratification and is malcontent if not everything is going to their timeline. I propose all car manufactures stop communicating about where the car actually is, so no anxiety build up when the car is close but not delivered due to reason XYZ … Mine was...
Well my efficiency of the Macan on 20 inch is for the moment 10% less than the iX on 22 inch wheels … Maybe the tires are also a contributing factor, seems the Bridgestones are far from efficient …
I have the Bridgestone 20 inch on Turbo, I did find that while the handling is great, the noise and consumption are not, what I did experience … also they seems to Wear out quickly …
For that particular drive no, but I had another long highway drive with slight wind in the back … so a bit more optimistic and a construction zone of 50km/h … But still way higher then the others quote here …
At average speed of around 120 km/h on the highway I average at around 24kwh/100km at 12C so I guess 21 - 22kwh/100km at 25C
(The lower average was a turnaround and getting to and from highway that is really negligible most of it was driven at 120km/h)
I hope this is not the Turbo being so much worse … on paper the difference is way less, I drive normal with similar average speeds … and on 20 inch wheels …
Depends on your driving style … what is your longtime consumption average … the iX3 is rather efficient if you drive with anticipation, I know my iX is, I can drive my iX with 20kwh/100km 8 month’s of the year … an iX3 should be lower, lets say 18kwh/100km with a net capacity of 74kwh is around...
But it’s efficient so the actual range is the same, charging rate however …
Yesterday I charged the battery from 16 to 80% in 22 minutes, below the advertised 10 to 80 time of 21 minutes, though it started charging at 270kw and I was alone at the charging station … so no limit from car or...
Question, there seems to be a considerable difference in indicated speed versus real speed. Not so much at lower speeds. But at higher speed like 130 km/h the real speed is 125km/h …
In my BMW iX the difference is always 1 km/h, I use the indicated speed of Waze … I’m wondering if anybody else...
After a back and forth of a 200km highway trip what I discovered:
- innodrive drives more like me, closer to the car in front, more aggressive acceleration, like it a bit more then the iX that is to conservative
- when in traffic innodrive does not create an emergency lane like the iX
- more...
Interesting I have the Turbo with standard wheels and they are “OK”, but I need to drive a 22 inch equipped car to be sure to go for those carbon wheels blacked out with carbon inlays 🤪
The noise and comfort of the 20’s is for me acceptable, but I’m hesitant on the 22’s …
So my initial impressions of Macan Turbo on 20 inch wheels, compared to an iX 50 on 22’s
- Normal mode feels more agile sportier then my iX 50 in sport (the iXM60 is also sportier but not as sporty as the Macan) Macan, is a smaller more drivers persons car, but the passengers prefer the iX …

Did I call it smooth? Anyway I have it now and it’s really smooth 🤪, but of course I‘ve done it to keep it protected from the accidental scratches and also Carwash abuse, which is especially a b#tch on black cars …
I had this with my iX this time as well, turned out that the automatic set correct time option was disabled (probably due to an update) … don’t have my car yet, but I suppose you have something similar in the Porsche?
